A Happy Birthday Stamp Off Color Challenge

Stamp Off New Logo

Hello, again!  It is that time to have another Stamp Off Challenge.  This time our challenge was given to us by Buffy and is a color challenge called Stuck in Neutral (cute, huh?).  She said we had to use all Neutral Colors for the project.  As you all know, Buffy is a vintage stamper so she uses Neutrals a lot.  Me, not so much.  I think Buffy was thinking thinking about me when she made the challenge because she did say we could use one different color as long as it was just a little bit and didn’t pop off the card.  Thank you Buffy!

StuckinNeutral

Today is also Rob’s birthday.  I decided to combine the challenge with his birthday card.  Neutrals are perfect for a masculine card so it worked for me.  Here is the outside my card.  It is a fun fold card too.

Here is the inside of the card with my little bit of color:

Watertcooler Wednesday WWC44

Today is Wednesday which means it is another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge!  This time the challenge was given to us by Buffy.  It is a “Anything Goes” challenge.  The only rule is you have to have a wedding theme.  You can make a card or a 3D project.  Anything you want as long as it has a wedding theme.

Thoughts & Prayers, Bravo

I decided to make a card using the stamp set called Thoughts & Prayers.  This set has been around for a long time.  It really is a beautiful set to use for a sympathy card but it also has other uses.  I used the branch stamp to make a wreath.  I stamped it in Versamark and then embossing it using White Embossing Powder.  The ‘congratulations” is from the stamp set called Bravo and I cut it out using the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits.

Awesomely Artistic

Artistically Awesome

This is the third card we made in our Club Meeting in July.  It uses the new stamp set called Awesomely Artistic.  It really is a beautiful stamp set that has nine stamps in it, including the cute little dragonfly.  We used Very Vanilla card stock on this card because it added a little softness to it.  I know it is hard to tell from the photo.  The frame around the word Friend is also included in this set.  It actually has a matching Framelit to go with it in the set called Project Life Cards & Labels.

If any of you are interested in coming to our Club meeting one month, just let me know.  There is no obligation but you just might find yourself having some fun.  If you would rather not come to the Club meeting I would be happy to set up a different time for you and your friends to come to my house to stamp.  I charge $10 to make 3 cards and there would be no obligation to buy anything else (unless you want to!).

Awesomely Artistic

Awesomely Artistic

This is a brand new stamp set that is in the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.  It is called Awesomely Artistic. This set comes in Wood Mount or Clear Mount.  Honestly, it is not a set I would usually get (because I am not very good at vintage) but it has the cutest Dragonfly included with it.  Most of you know I am not a butterfly fan but for some reason I like Dragonflies.  Go figure!  The set of Framelits called Project Life Cards & Labels have a Framelit that goes with this set.  You can see I used it in this card.  The “thanks” is from another new stamp set called Tin Of Cards.  That set has a bunch of great sentiments included with it.

I got to visit Madelyn last weekend and was able to take some new pictures so I thought I would share one since you haven’t seen many lately.

Endless Birthday Wishes Is Back!

Endless Birthday Wishes

The Photopolymer Stamp set called Endless Wishes is now available to order again.  When it first appeared it flew out the door like hotcakes.  It has been a couple of months now and Stampin’ Up! once again has it in stock.  This makes me very happy because I love this set.  By the way, I have a sneak peek for you.  Do you remember the set called Endless Wishes?  It was a Christmas Photopolymer stamp set that lasted about a week before it sold out.  I have some great news.  Endless Wishes is in the Holiday Catalog that comes out September 1st!

I also used the Project Life Framelits called Cards & Labels to make this card.  Even if you are not into scrapbooking or Project Life, you would still love these Framelits.
