Birthday Fiesta is such a fun stamp set. It has a cactus, llama, lots of banners and a couple of sentiments. The best thing is it has a matching set of Framelits called Fiesta Time and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.
This card could be used for so many occasions. It would work for a birthday, graduation, promotion or anniversary. I am actually using it as part of my project to make my sister 25 invitations to her son’s rehearsal dinner. I now have two down, twenty three to go! I better get cracking!

I decided to take a break from Christmas cards with my club and use a set they haven’t used yet. This is the card we made. It uses the stamp set called Birthday Fiesta, which has matching Framelits called Fiesta Time. You can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.
When I first saw this set I didn’t think I wanted to get it. Then my Stamp Off partners, Buffy and Jackie, started using it. They made the cutest cards with it, so of course, I ended up buying it. It really is a cute set. It also includes a cactus, a couple of banners and some great fiesta flowers. The Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper that matches this set is so bright and colorful and the Brights family is my favorite. I actually cut the hat the llama is wearing out of this paper.
Here is a quick and easy birthday card for when you are in a hurry. The whole card only took a couple of minutes. Life gets busy but you still need to acknowledge someone’s birthday so quick and easy is good!
I used the stamp set called Birthday Fiesta. It is in the 2016 Annual Catalog has a set of matching Framelits called Fiesta Time, although I didn’t use them for this card. If you purchase both you can save 10% on the Bundle. The Designer Series Paper is called Festive Birthday. That is one thing (among many things) that is awesome about Stampin’ Up! products. Everything coordinates with each other.
Good morning! It is once again Friday where Buffy, Jackie and I do our Stamp Off Challenges. This time Jackie gave us a tough challenge (for me). It is all about textures.
I had to ask what this meant. I was told textures mean ripping cardstock, crazy ribbons, or stuff. Hmmm. Susan doesn’t really do textures. I had to think about this for a while. I made many cards. I threw out many cards. So, I decided to do what I do best. Plus I needed to find a way to surprise Buffy and Jackie. They have been bugging me to buy Birthday Fiesta and the matching Framelits called Fiesta Time. They have been sending me pictures of a lot of cute cards making this set. I resisted them for a while but eventually, as you can see, I caved.
I know when you look at this card you are asking yourself “where are the textures? There are no textures” but you are wrong. Cactus have prickly texture and llamas are furry. Prickles and hair are textures. Flowers have textures. All right. I know it is a stretch but it is what I came up with. Sorry Buffy and Jackie (but at least I bought the stamp set after all this time! That should make you happy!).
Now let’s go see what the fabulous ladies (Buffy and Jackie) who made cards with real textures created.
