Berry Blessings

Stampin Up Berry Delightful

As you can probably tell, I really love the Berry Blessings Bundle that is in the 2021 Stampin’ Up!® Sale-a-bration Catalog.  Why do I love it?  It is beautiful but the best part is, it was FREE!  Unfortunately, this will be my last post using it because Sale-a-bration ends on Sunday.  That means this bundle will not be available anymore.  You won’t be able to get it for free or get it at all so if you love it, you need to place a qualifying order by Sunday.

This card is a Fun Fold card called a Slide and Lock.  I made one of these last July.  You can see it HERE.  The directions and measurements for a portrait card are included in that post so if you would like to see them, just click on that link.  It is called a Slide and Lock because the center section slides up to be removed and open the card.

Stampin Up Berry Blessings

Isn’t that fun?!

To make this card I first scored a 4.14″ x 11″ piece of Poppy Parade cardstock at 2.75″ at 8.25″.  Then I cut 1/16″ off one end.  This makes it a bit easier to slide the middle section.  Then I layered two 2.5″ x 4″ pieces of Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper on both ends.  Remember, this paper is part of the Sale-a-bration Berry Blessing Bundle that you can get for free with a qualifying order until Sunday.  Again, the rest of the directions and measurements on how to make the sliding part are in the link above.  The only different is I used the Here’s  Card stamp set for the sentiment.  I cut it  and the piece of Poppy Parade cardstock that is behind it out using the Ornate Frames die set

So Much Happy

When I first saw the stamp set called So Much Happy, it made me happy because it has lots of balloons.  Who doesn’t like balloons?  What really made me very happy was looking at the matching dies called Happy Dies!  One of the dies cuts out the large “happy” border and I just love it.  It is large and it is different so I knew I would get it right away.  There are 15 stamps in the set and 11 dies.

To make this card I first cut out the word happy in Gray Granite cardstock.  Then I ran each end of it through my die cutting machine using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  I did it this way because I didn’t want the actual word to be embossed.  I backed the word with a piece of the 6″ x 6″ 2020/2022 InColor Designer Series Paper in Bumblebee and layered that on top of a Bumblebee card base.  Then I cut out the banner and the balloons using the same DSP and the balloon strings in the matching cardstock colors.  Lastly I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink onto Bumblebee cardstock and cut it out using a die from Ornate Frames.

By the way, if you purchase the So Much Happy stamp set with the Happy Dies in a bundle you can save 10%.

It is Bonus Days!! For every $50 you spend during the month of July you earn a $5 coupon towards your August purchases. Purchase $50 and you get one coupon. Purchase $100 and you get two!  There is no limit as to how many coupons you can earn!

Prized Peony

I love Peonies so I was happy when I saw a new suite in the 2020/2021 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog called Peony Garden.  This suite includes the stamp set called Prized Peony, Peony Dies, gorgeous Designer Series Paper, beautiful Shimmer ribbon and other embellishments.  I ordered the entire suite.  By the way, did you know that Stampin’ Up!® now gives one item number you can use to order everything in one of their suites?  I love this because you only put in one number instead of 5, 6 or more.  I do have to say, the only bad thing is, if one of the products in the suite becomes unavailable, then you can’t use this number but you can still order the products separately.

To make this card I first cut out a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock using a die in a new set called Many Medallions and layered it on top of a Crumb Cake card base.  Then I stamped the Peony in Smoky Slate ink because I didn’t want a strong border and cut that out using the matching die.  I know I have been using some of the other new InColors so I decided to give Magenta Madness a little love since I haven’t used that.  I colored the flower using my Magenta Madness Stampin Blends.  I colored the stem using the new Just Jade Blends too.  Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set called Band Together and cut it out using a die from the set called Ornate Frames.

So what do you think about the color Magenta Madness?  It is growing on me.

Ornate Thanks

Here is a quick and easy card I made with a new Suite called Ornate Garden.  This Suite is going to be in the 2020/2021 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog.  Stampin’ Up!® decided to release it early as a kind of sneak peek to some products that will be in this new catalog which starts in June.  The Suite has two stamp sets, two sets of dies, some Designer Series Paper, ribbon and embellishments.  You can purchase both stamp sets with their coordinating dies as bundles and save 10% but you can still mix and match everything as I did with this card.  To make it even more fun, the Designer Series Paper has a new InColor in it called Bumblebee so you get a sneak peek of that too.

To make this card I used the stamp set called Ornate Thanks.  The matching dies to this stamp set is called Ornate Borders but I didn’t use them.  Instead I chose to use the dies called Ornate Layers.  I first cut out a  4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP and adhered that to a Whisper White card base.  I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive Ink and cut it out using another one of the dies in the Ornate Layers set that is a stitched rectangle.  I also cut out the fancy background die using the same set in Old Olive cardstock and layered them together using Stampin Dimensionals.  It was a super easy card to make because of the great products I used.

Here are the products that are included in this Suite:

Timeless Tulips

Well, it is the end of March and there are no tulips to be seen anywhere around here so I decided to make my own.  I used the stamp set called Timeless Tulips which is in the Stampin’ Up!® 2020 January – June Mini Catalog.  This stamp set has a matching punch called Tulip Builder and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle until June 2nd. If the stamp set carries over into the 2020/2021Annual Catalog then you will still be able to get the products.  You just won’t get the discount.  If they don’t carry over then they will be gone for good!

To make this card, I first cut out the frame in Petal Pink cardstock using the Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folders.  You first cut out the frame and then you emboss it.  There is an oval one too and they are both so pretty.

Then I stamped the tulips in Petal Pink Ink and the stems in Mossy Meadow onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I layered this onto a piece of Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.  Then I popped up the frame using Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow Ink and cut it out using a die from the set called Ornate Frames Dies.  These are in the Annual Catalog.

Remember, there is only a week left to Sale-a-bration! Don’t miss out on earning FREE merchandise with a qualifying order!
