Parisian Beauty is a stamp set that is in the Stampin’ Up!® 2020 January – June Catalog. Sadly it is not being carried over into the 2020/2021 Annual Catalog which means it will be retired on June 2nd. I think it is a fun and different bundle plus it brought back a lot of memories of when Rob, Zachary (my son) and I went to Paris in 2003 (wow that is a long time ago!). Rob had a convention to attend so Zachary and I spent our days exploring the city. Paris is a beautiful place to visit and there was so much to see. We went right when the US was mad at France (honestly I can not remember why. All I remember is everyone want to renames French Fries to American Fries) and we had heard that the French did not like Americans so we were a little nervous about going. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The French people were kind, friendly and patient with us non-French speaking tourists. We had a great time!
This card was a great way to use up scraps of cardstock that most of us stampers like to hoard. I don’t know about you, but I keep even the smallest slivers because they are great for sentiment strips. I used the colors Purple Posy, Smoky Slate and Balmy Blue for the background. I just the Eiffel Tower and the sentiment out of Basic Gray cardstock. It was a quick and easy card to make. The hardest part was trying to find the dot over the “i” after cutting it out.
I just realized there was no stamping to this card. It was made totally with cardstock and dies!
So if you like this Bundle you need to order it by June 2nd before it is gone for good. Remember you can still get the 10% discount by purchasing it in a Bundle!
