You’re A Star!

Pictogram Punches

For a few years, I am have whining (just a little bit) that Stampin’ Up! didn’t have many star stamps, punches or Framelits.  They  used to have them but they retired a few years ago.  I think maybe they finally heard me (and many many others) whine loud enough that they brought a bunch of star products back!  There are Framelits, an embossing folder, a punch and star stamps galore!  Yay!  I love it!

This card using a stamp set called Pictogram Punches.  It has a lot of stamps that go with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  The larger stars were cut out using the Star Framelits.  The Tangerine Tango strip in the background is actually Washi Tape!  Washi Tape is a great and easy way to add a little color to your cards.

Hooray For Stars!

Bright & Beautiful

Here is yet another star card.  I can’t help myself.  I just love stars.  This card reminds me of a magician’s trick.  Can you see how the two stars are attached to each other?  It is magical (although not really).  As with any magic trick, there is always a solution.  You just have to figure it out.  In this case, it is very simple.  I cut out the larger star and then used a smaller Star Framelit to cut out the middle.  Then I just put a slice in the Blushing Bride star and hid that slice underneath the Calypso Coral Star.  See?  It only looks like magic.

A Bright and Beautiful Christmas

Bright & Beautiufl

I hate to remind everyone of this again but there are 100 days left before Christmas.  Although that seems like such a scary thought, you don’t have to panic.  There is still a lot of time left to make your Christmas cards.  The Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog is full of holiday stamp sets  There has to be at least one of set for everyone’s tastes.

If you are a customer of mine, you know that one of the requirements I have is that everyone has to make at least one Christmas card and they have to send it to me!  You better start thinking about it!
