I am ready for summer! Last week the temperatures in Nashville went below zero. It was the coldest it has been here for 20 years! The cold temps latest a week and I froze. I definitely have southern blood now because I was freezing all week. The nice thing is this past Monday it was 70 degrees! Rob and I drove the Mustang with the top down. It was so much fun. It was quite a swing in temperatures and now I am thinking about summer. Of course, I know it is only January but a girl can dream, right?
Tomorrow is a big day in the world of Stampin’ Up!®! The January – April Mini Catalog and Sale-a-bration begin! I always love it when a new catalog starts because I love using new products. To make this card, I first stamped all the leave and stems in Granny Apple Green ink and cut them out using the coordinating die. Then I cut out all the flowers in Daffodil Delight, Fresh Freesia and Highland Heather card stock. I embossed a piece of Basic White card stock using the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder and layered that onto a piece of Highland Heather card stock and a Fresh Freesia card base. Then I adhered all the stems and flowers on top. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather ink on a piece of Fresh Freesia card stock and cut it out using the Stylish Shapes dies. I adhered that using Dimensionals.
