Festival Of Trees Birthday Card

Festival Of Trees

Here is another card I made using the “Christmas” stamp set called Festival Of Trees.  The thing I love about this is you can really use it year round.  All you need to do is change the colors a bit and it becomes a birthday card!  This stamp set is in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.  It also has a matching punch called Tree Punch and you can save 15% by buying both!

If you like this set, remember, there is only about a month left before it is gone.  Occasionally the merchandise in the smaller catalogs appear in the annual catalog but not usually Christmas sets so if you like it, you need to order it soon.

Don’t forget the Online Extravaganza is still going on!  To see what is on sale click HERE!

Festival of Trees Workshop Card

Festival Of Trees

This is the second card we did at a workshop I had earlier in the month.  It is a great card for new stampers to use because it shows a couple of different techniques.

The Festival of Trees stamp set is a two-step set where you stamp one image (the tree) and then stamp the second image (the berries) over the top.  Then this stamp set also has a matching punch you a new stamper can see how nicely the Stampin’ Up! punches work.  Lastly, we used Dimensionals to give the card a little depth.   Overall, I think the ladies had a great time stamping and a couple of them might even be hooked!

A Christmas Card For Lou

Festival of Trees

A few years ago a bunch of us got together at my house to make our own Christmas cards together.  It was a great way to get it done and have fun at the same time.  Everyone brought some food and drinks to share.  My friend Lou was having a bad day.  She wasn’t feeling very well and she had a bad week at work.  Normally Lou is laughing and smiling and having a great time.  She was a little quiet and somber when she arrived.  Everyone took out their supplies to make their cards.  Most of the colors were green and red or blue and silver.  Then Lou takes out her colors.  She brought black and dark gray.  We knew it wasn’t going to be a good day for her.  I am not sure she even made a card that day at all.  We all still laugh about this.  So, in honor of Lou, I made this Smokey Slate and Basic Black Christmas card.  Of course I had to brighten it up a bit with the Real Red so it kind of ruins the moment but I was still thinking about her.Blog Signature-Fall

Festival Of Trees

I hate to say this but I just thought I should warn you.  There are only 43 days left until Christmas.  Most people send Christmas cards before Christmas (although I do have a cousin who always sends me one afterwards).  If you want to send Christmas cards this year, then you need to get moving.

One of the things I love about the stamp set called Festival of Trees is that it really can by used year round.  I already showed you a couple of cards that used this set but did not have a Christmas theme.  This particular card does (as you can tell).  It also uses an embossing folder from the Holiday Catalog called Filigree Frame.  It adds a nice touch, don’t you think?

Festival Of Trees Club Card

Festival of Trees, Merry Everything

This is one of the cards we made at our monthly club meeting.  It uses a Photopolymer Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog.  It is called Festival Of Trees.  This set has a matching punch called Tree Punch and you can save 15% by purchasing both in a bundle.  The other stamp set we used is also from the Holiday Catalog and is called Merry Everything.  This set also has a matching punch called Note Tag and once again, you can save 15% by purchasing both!  The stars down the center of the card uses a new border punch called Confetti Star.  I used one of the stars that were cut out by this punch for the star on top of the tree.

Festival Of Trees Birthday Card

Festival Of Trees

The stamp set called Festival of Trees is a great set to use for your Christmas cards but it can also be used for everyday cards too!  I love it when a stamp set has more than one use especially when it is supposed to be a Christmas set.  You can really use this one year round so you get more for your money.  The Festival of Trees stamp set in the Holiday Catalog.

The sentiment on this card comes from the stamp set called Yippee-Skippee.  This set is in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.  The colors I used are Wisteria Wonder, Coastal Cabana, So Saffron and Wild Wasabi.

Festival Of Trees

Festival Of Trees

This is a quick and easy Christmas Card you can make using a Photopolymer Stamp set from the Holiday Catalog called Festival of Trees.  It has a matching punch which is always awesome!  It keeps getting better because you can buy both and save 15%.  I also used the 2 1/2″ and the 2″ Circle Punches to make this card.  The sentiment is from Cheerful Tags and the Designer Series Paper is called Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack.  It is a pack of 48 sheets of paper with 12 different designs.  If you don’t like one side, you can turn it over and use the other.  This Designer Series Paper is also in the Holiday Catalog.

The Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog has so many awesome products in it, that I think I pretty much bought it all!  I really loved this catalog because it had so many different styles that it everyone should find something to love.  My problem is that I want it all!

I made this card using a Photopolymer Stamp Set called Festival of Trees.  It has a matching punch and you can save 15% by purchasing both.  I stamped the trees once in the foreground and then again (before re-inking) in the background to give it a little depth.  Then I took my Chalk Marker and “colored” a little snow on the branches of the trees.  I used a stamp from Holiday Home to stamp the snowflakes.  The colors I used are Crumb Cake and Mossy Meadow.
