2022 2023 New Incolors

Stampin Up InColors

I decided to make a quick and easy card using all the new Stampin’ Up!® 2022 2023 InColors.  These colors will be available beginning on May 3rd.  You can get ink pads, card stock, Stampin’ Write Markers, Stampin Blends, 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and ink refills in these beautiful colors.  Starting at the top of this card the first colors is called Orchid Oasis (my favorite), Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet and Starry Sky.  They are all beautiful and go so well together.

I didn’t want to make a busy, complicated card to show you these new colors so I just cut out each hexagon using the Beautiful Shapes Dies.  These dies are in the the 2022 January – June Mini Catalog.  They coordinate with the stamp set called Hello Beautiful.  Hello Beautiful is retiring at the end of that catalog (June 30th) but Stampin’ Up!® is offering a new stamp set called Framed Occasions that will coordinate with these dies.  I adhered the hexagons to a piece of Smoky Slate and Basic White card stock and on a Basic Gray card base.  I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink.  It is from the stamp set called Plentiful Plants.  Lastly I added a few Classic Matte Dots.

Remember you still have until May 2nd to order any in stock retiring products.  After that, they will no longer be available.  These new InColors will be available to order on May 3rd.  You are going to love them!

On a side note, my first grandchild, Madelyn turned seven today!  I just can not believe how grown up she is.  The best part of her is she is a very happy, kind and caring young girl.  She makes us very proud.  Happy birthday, Maddie.  We love you!

2022/2024 Stampin’ Up!® InColors

One of my favorite things about getting a new Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog is getting to see the new InColors.  In case you don’t know, Stampin’ Up!® introduces five new colors every year called InColors.  These color are available for a two year period.  After that, they normally disappear (although occasionally Stampin’ Up!® brings them back with a color refresh).  Without further ado here are the new colors:

Orchid Oasis

Parakeet Party

Starry Sky

Sweet Sorbet

Tahitian Tide

Aren’t they just beautiful?  Beginning May 3rd, you will be able to buy all these colors in inks, ink refills, card stock, Stampin Blends, Stampin Write Markers, ribbons and more!  The best thing about being a demonstrator is I was able to order then on April 1st.  They are even prettier in person!  You are going to love them all (but I think my favorite is going to be Orchid Oasis!)!

Surgery Update:  I was able to get up the stairs with Rob’s help yesterday.  It was so nice to be able to look at the new products I received on Tuesday and make a couple of cards using them.  My favorite color is the Orchid Oasis.  It is just beautiful but the best thing about this set of colors is they all go so well together!  I love them!  They are bright and rich colors and just gorgeous!  I’ll post my cards using them next week!

You’ve Got This Sneak Peek

You've Got This

Here is a sneak peek of a new stamp set that will be in the 2015/2016 Stampin’ Up! catalog that comes out in June.  It is called You’ve Got This.  It is a set of 5 stamps that include the flower, the background and the sentiment that I used on this card.  It was a very simple card to make and only took a couple of minutes.  I stamped off the background once but probably should have done it a second time so the flower would show up better.  The banners were made using the new Banner Triple Punch.  I love how it makes three different sized banners.  I did cut the one where I used Watermelon Wonder card stock to make it a little thinner but the banner part matches perfectly.

Remember you can’t order this until June 2nd unless you are a demonstrator.  If you are interested in becoming one, give me a call, send me an email or click on “Join Now” for more information.

Madelyn at two weeks.  Life is very tiring!

Another Sneak Peek Of Sprinkles

Sprinkles Of Life, RMHC

I love the new Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) stamp set that is coming out in June.  It is so cute plus it has a matching punch called Tree Builder!  It is just adorable.  The best thing about buying this stamp set is that Stampin’ Up! donates $3 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities for each stamp set purchased.  Not only do you get a cute stamp set, but you help a worthy cause!

The only sad thing about this card is the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder I used for the background is retiring June 2nd so if you want it, you need to order it before it is gone for good!

Sam and Tara had a professional photography come by the house this weekend to take pictures of Madelyn.  I am not sure what she is supposed to be dressed up as (maybe an American Indian) but she is still cute!

Introducing the New 2015/2016 In Colors

In Colors, Bravo

One of the great things about being a Stampin’ Up! demo is you get to order some of the merchandise from the new catalog before it comes out.  I always order the new In Colors because I can’t wait to see them!  I got my box in the mail and couldn’t wait to open it up to see the new colors!

This year the In Colors are called (from the bottom up) Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Watermelon Wonder.  Don’t the names make you hungry?!?

Here is a picture of the front cover of the new catalog.  I can’t show you what is inside yet.  If you would like a copy, let me know.  I should be getting them in this week sometime.  They are free if you come pick one up.

The sentiment on this card is from the stamp set called Bravo.  I am happy to report that it is being carried over into the new catalog.  It is a great set for graduations and weddings!

Crazy String Art

Fabulous Four

Do you remember a long time ago when we used to make String Art?  I remember doing this when my boys were young.  Of course, being boys, they wrapped the string around everything they could find, including each other!

I made this card using Markers and a ruler.  I just randomly placed the ruler from one side to the other and drew the lines.  I probably got a little carried away and I had to make myself stop.  I used the 2014/2016 In Color Markers.  The sentiment is from Fabulous Four which has 4  (of course) large sentiments.  It didn’t take long to make, which is my kind of card!

An In Color Thanks

Fabulous Four, In Colors

I love the new Stampin’ Up! In Colors.  They are really rich looking and perfect for any season.  I actually made this card using some scraps I had lying around.  I just stamped the thanks from the stamp set called Fabulous Four in Tangelo Twist and then layered the bottom of the card using my In Color scraps.  The colors, in order from top to bottom are Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow.  Mossy Meadow, by the way, is going to be a great color to use from Christmas trees in case you are thinking that far ahead!

Work Of Art Club Card

Work Of ArtThis is the first card we made at our monthly Club Meeting this week.  It uses the brand new stamp set called Work of Art that is in the new 2014/2015 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.  I love this set because of the various swishes and splats is has.  The colors we used are from the new In Color Collection.  They are Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss.  They are great colors that all go together.  The “Thank You” was cut out using the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch and is matted by a piece of Tangelo Twist cut out by the Label Bracket Punch.

Watercooler In Color Card Challenge

In Colors, Four YouAs a demonstrator, I belong to a Stampin’ Up! forum that only demonstrators can join.  It is a great place to share ideas, ask questions and look for answers.  On this forum there is a thread there called the Watercooler.  This is where we talk about anything and everything (except business, although a few people do that too).  The ladies who participate in this thread decided to join in bi-weekly card challenges.

The first challenge is to make a card using the new 2014/2015 In Colors.  In my card I used Lost Lagoon and Hello Honey.  The Designer Series Paper is called Moonlight.  I used the new Project Life Card & Labels Framelits and the Four You stamp set.  All of these items will be available for purchase tomorrow.  In the meantime, check out this web site to see what the other participants posted.  Make a card of your own and post it there!  It will be fun to see what everyone comes up with!

Goodbye Oh, Hello!

Oh HelloOh, Hello is another Stampin’ Up! stamp set that is going to retire at the end of this month.  The great thing about this set was it came out the same time as the Ovals Collections Framelits so they matched perfectly.  It was also one of the first sets that came out that had the chevron design that is so popular right now.  If you like this set you need to order it before June 1st when it will be gone forever.

I paired this stamp set with a sneak peek of Designer Series Paper called Moonlight that will be in the new catalog beginning June 2nd.  I really like this new paper because it uses the new 2014/2015 In Colors that are coming out.  The particular paper I used has Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey in it.  The ribbon is also a new In Color (Blackberry Bliss).  You are going to love the new ribbon.  It ties very easily and looks very rich.
