Oh, Hello!

Oh, Hello is one of the stamp sets I received at 2013 Leadership.  I love this set because it has so many uses.  People who are into Vintage cards love it and people, like me, who like clean bold cards love it.  It goes with the Ovals Collection Framelits and you can buy it as a bundle and save money too!  In this card I also used the Honeycomb Embossing Folder which is also in the 2013 Spring Catalog. If you buy the Oh, Hello Bundle, the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and the Raspberry Ripple 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon, you will be eligible to pick something FREE out of the Sale-a-bration Catalog!

Another Swap

This next card was made by Buffy Cooper and it is absolutely beautiful.  The Background was embossed with the folder called Vintage Wallpaper.  The Very Vanilla in the center was embossed with the Fancy Fan Folder.  Buffy then used the Designer Series Paper called Tea For Two from the Occasions Catalog and cut it out with the Delicate Doilies Sizzlets L.  Then to top it all off she embossed the circle from the stamp set called Collage Curios with Silver Embossing Powder and stamp the flower from this set in the middle.

Leadership MDS Swap

One of the swaps I received at Leadership was a card made with My Digital Studio. I think it is so cute so I wanted to share it with you. It is from a digital download posted on January 8th.

Leadership Highlights

Leadership ended today after 2 full days of classes and five General Sessions. It was terrific!
Of course, as I said before, meeting Buffy Cooper was the highlight of it all. I also got to meet Lydia (UnderstandBlue) which was also a thrill. Lydia is a Moderator on Splitcoaststampers. She just happen to be sitting next to me at the last General Session. It is funny how you talk to be people online and they become real friends even though you haven’t met. The best part is that you still like the person after you meet.

One very exciting thing that happened is that I won free registration to Convention in Salt Lake City in July! At every session they drew 5 names of people who won this prize. My name was drawn today! I was very exciting. Not only do I get to attend for free, if I sign up a Demonstrator between now and February 1st, they get to go for free too! So anyone who is thinking about signing up, now is the time to do so!

HERE is a video from today’s General Session to enjoy.

Leadership Notebooks

As you are already aware, I am in Orlando at the Stampin Up Leadership Conference.  The best part of the whole conference is I finally get to meet Buffy.  Buffy is another Stampin Up Demonstrator that I actually met online.  She and I have been “talking” for almost a year and I can’t wait to meet her.

I designed these two notebooks for Buffy and myself to take notes at the Conference.  I used My Digital Studio to do this.  I took a design that Stampin Up used and changed it to the way I liked it.  It was very easy to do.  Then I sent it online to the printer and it came in the mail to me about a week later.  The print products are a very high quality from Stampin Up and I highly recommend using this service to get things printed.

If you have been following me at all on my blog you will know that I am a clean and simple stamper.  Buffy is wonderful at the Vintage look so I wanted to reflect the differences in our notebooks.

Leadership 2012 Make ‘N Takes

I bought this great picture frame holder at Pier One after seeing it on another blog.  It holds cards perfectly.  All these cards were made using the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set, the Blossom Punch and The Designer Printed Kit called Blossom Builders in the Occasions Mini.  Some of these the cards were Make ‘n Takes from the Stampin Up Leadership Conference I went to in San Antonio.
The Blossom Builders Kit includes two sheets of the cut out flowers as well as pink rhinestones in two different sizes.

Leadership Swap

I belong to a group of Stampin Up Demonstrators called C.S.I (Create, Share and Inspire).  We have been doing Color Challenges the last few weeks.  The first Color Challenge was using the colors Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry.  I also used this card as my swap for Leadership.  It uses the stamp set called Send me Soaring.
