A Paper Pumpkin Mystery

It’s a Paper Pumpkin Mystery!

Do you love Paper Pumpkin? Do you like solving mysteries? We hope you answered yes to both questions, because starting TODAY, Stampin’ Up! is inviting our Paper Pumpkin Facebook followers to participate in a Guess the May Kit game—complete with “punny” clues intended to help participants figure out this month’s kit theme.

You will also have a chance to win a free kit when you share the excitement online! Just share or tag a friend to the Facebook post before the deadline specified in each post for a chance to win! After the deadline Stampin’ Up! will randomly select a “sharer” or “tagger” and send a pre-paid code (redeemable for a free Paper Pumpkin kit!) to both the winner and the friend they shared with or tagged. You must be 18 years of age or older and live in the U.S. or Canada to be eligible to win.

Don’t wait! Check out our Paper Pumpkin Facebook page now to get in on the fun—and spread the word!

Sara’s Paper Pumpkin

It is the 4th Anniversary of Paper Pumpkin.  Therefore, Stampin’ Up! turned creative control of their April kit over to CEO, Sara Douglass, and the end result is stunning! Her style is, “bold, vibrant, and artistic—with a little bit of sass,” which is exactly how she described the kit. Sara designed this kit for you so you can discover creativity through the eyes of our CEO while having an experience that is uniquely YOU!

As if a kit designed by Sara is not reason enough to sign up, there’s more! She’s including a FREE gift inside every April box! We’re keeping it a surprise, but you won’t want to miss it.

Order April’s Paper Pumpkin Kit before April 10th HERE. Don’t forget to choose me as your demonstrator!  If you order a three month subscription before March 31st you can save $5 AND pick an item from the Sale-a-bration Catalog for Free!  There is only 4 more days left!

Paper Pumpkin Thank You Cards

Paper Pumpkin, Stampin Up, susanstamps.wordpress.com

The November Paper Pumpkin Kit was one of my favorite kits of all time.  Although I had already made my Christmas cards by the time it came, I decided this kit would make really cute thank you cards for all the gifts I received.  I made one card according to the kit directions but made the rest using a stamp from Endless Thanks.  It fit perfectly with these cards.  If you like this kit, it is still available for purchase.  It is just a refill so you won’t get the stamps or ink, but you do get everything else to make these cards.  You can just use your own stamps and ink to make them any theme you wish.  They don’t just have to be for Christmas.  They make great winter cards too!

Falling Flowers

Falling Flowers, Flourish Thinlits, Stampin Up, susanstamps.wordpress.com

One of the great things about Stampin’ Up! is you can mix and match just about everything!  Although this card uses a stamp set that has matching Framelits, I decided to also use a different set of Thinlits.  Actually, this card is a mish mash (are they even words?) of a lot of different products.

The flowers are from the stamp set called Falling Flowers.  The matching Framelits are called May Flowers and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.   The sentiment is from a past Paper Pumpkin Kit.  That is something that people forget.  Even though you may have made all the items in the Paper Pumpkin kit, you will still have the stamp sets to use forever!  The Gold Foil leaves and border are from Flourish Thinlits.  Remember, there is no law that says you can only use sets that come together on a card.  You can mix it up every now and then!

Another Paper Pumpkin Card

Paper Pumpkin, Stampin Up, susanstamps.wordpress.com

Last week I showed you the October kit for Paper Pumpkin.  Paper Pumpkin from Stampin’ Up! is a monthly kit that you get in the mail.  You can sign up for it one month, 3 months, 6 months or for 12 months.  It is always a surprise (although sometimes Stampin’ Up! will give us a sneak peek).  Sometimes it is cards and sometimes it is a 3D project.  You always get a set of stamps and an Ink Spot along with every thing you need to make the kit except adhesive.  It comes with full step by step instructions so they are easy to make.  I do have to say that the Paper Pumpkin kits are mainly for beginner stampers or stampers who like to do kits.

If you would like more information about Paper Pumpkin you can click HERE.

Don’t forget the great sale Stampin’ Up! is having on various stamp sets!

Paper Pumpkin Shaker Cards

Paper Pumpkin

This month’s Paper Pumpkin kit is one of the cutest I have seen so far.  It makes shaker cards which are always fun.  Watch this video to see how easy and cute these cards are.

On a side note, last weekend we went to visit Madelyn.  What a difference two months make!  I am going to have start visiting her monthly.  She is brilliant!  She is saying words by imitating people.  She knows all her animals noises and she eats like a horse.  I don’t think I have smiled that much in one weekend ever!  Here is a picture of her when we went to pick out pumpkins.  I thought it was perfect when talking about Paper Pumpkin!
