You’ve Got This

You've Got This, Endless Thanks

I started to make this card to use as a Watercooler Wednesday Color Challenge card but I just couldn’t figure out how to use one of the colors in it.  I decided I liked it without the last color so I left it alone and made something else for the challenge.

I used the stamp set called You’ve Got This for the flower.  I think is set was made to use with the Stampin’ Up! Blendabilities but since they are discontinued, I decided to just leave it un-colored (I don’t think that is a word but you know what I mean).  The sentiment and banner is from Endless Thanks.  Endless Thanks is a Photopolymer Stamp Set so you can see exactly where to stamp.

Banner Banter Birthday

Banner Banter

I made this fun and easy card for a friend’s birthday.  It uses the stamp set called Banner Banter.  This stamp set is in the current catalog and luckily it is going to be in next year’s catalog.  This set has a matching punch too, called Banner (duh!), which is always an awesome thing!  I made the longer banners using the same punch.  You can use the punch to make longer banners too.  Here is how you cut them:

Now, for a Madelyn commercial break!  This is one of the pictures that a professional photographer took when she was only a week old.  Don’t you just love those cheeks!?!

Make A Wish

Perfect Pennants

I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas yesterday and that all of you had all of your wishes granted.  My Christmas was wonderful, although I missed my youngest son, Zachary a lot.  He couldn’t be with us this year because he deployed.  I think it is the first Christmas he has not been here since he was born and it made me sad.

I made this card using the stamp sets called Perfect Pennants and Gorgeous Grunge.  The first time I saw Gorgeous Grunge I thought it was appropriate for road kill.  It looked like a lot of blood splatter.  Now I love it.  It is the perfect set to add a little color without going overboard.

About The Label

About The Label

This is the second card we made at our monthly Club Meeting.  It uses the stamp set called About The Label. It is a fun stamp set that has this shopping bag, an envelope and cute little stamps that go with the Little Labels Punch Pack.  We stamped the bag twice (once in Rich Razzleberry and once in Daffodil Delight) onto the Whisper White Cardstock and then again in Tempting Turquoise on another piece of Whisper White Cardstock.  Then we cut out the Tempting Turquoise one and attached it with a Dimensional.  The little flags are from the stamp set called Banner Banter.  The sentiment is from And Many More.

Oh My Goodies & Project Life

Oh My Goodies, PLxSU

Thirty one years ago I married Rob.  Wow it is hard to believe how time has flown.  I know people say that all the time but honestly it is true.  Together we have three wonderful boys (who are now men) and one daughter in law, all of whom we are very proud of.  It has been a great 31 years and I would do it all over again if given the chance.  I did make Rob a card but I decided not to post it today.  Sometimes I just have to keep things between the two of us.

Today’s card is made with a new stamp set called Oh My Goodies.  I know.  It is a very weird name and a very weird sentiment but I love it anyway.  There are four stamps in this set that go with the Deco Labels Framelits.  The stamp I used is one of my favorite from the set.

The background is one of the cards from the Project Life Everyday Adventure Collection.  I have used quite a number of these cards as backgrounds and I particularly love this set because of the bright colors.  Everyone know Bermuda Bay with either Daffodil Delight or in this case, Crushed Curry, is one of my favorite combinations.  All you need to do is look at my blog header to realize this!

Happy Anniversary, Onion.  I love you the most!
