Painted Petals Sneak Peek

Painted Petals

Here is a quick and easy card using a brand new stamp set that will in the 2015 Occasions Catalog. It is a Photopolymer Stamp Set which is the perfect material for two step stamping because you can see exactly where you want to stamp.  There are 13 stamps in this set.  They include three sentiments (one of which is used on this card), flowers, stems, leaves, lines and circles.

The Occasions Catalog comes out January 6th along with the new 2015 Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  That means for every $50 you spend you can pick one item from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog for Free!  Free is always awesome!

Kinda Eclectic Screen Card

Kinda Eclectic, Screen Card

This is one of the cards we made at our monthly Club Meeting.  I am sure you have seen these screen cards on the internet before because they are all the rage.  I don’t know who actually thought up the idea in the first place, but I thought it was a very cute idea.  The card is actually very easy to make.  You start with a piece of cardstock that is 8.25 x 6 (I used Crumb Cake).  Then you score it at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″.  The Decorative Label Punch is used to cut out the “legs” of the card.  The panels (I used Very Vanilla) are 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″.  That stamp set we used is called Kinda Eclectic.

An Amazing Birthday

Amazing Birthday, Tape It

This card uses another new Stampin’ Up! stamp set from the Annual Catalog called Amazing Birthday.  Can you tell that I really like a lot of stamps from this catalog?  I think I bought most of them!  Anyway, I used Tape It to do the background.  Tape It looks like pieces of Washi Tape only you can use any color you want because they are stamps.  For this card I used Sahara Sand, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and Pistachio Pudding. The awesome ribbon is called 3/8: Stitched Satin Ribbon and it comes in all the new In Colors.  I love this ribbon because the colors are very rich and the ribbon is soft.
