The third card we did for our Stamp-A-Stack used an older set called Aviary. It uses non-traditional Valentine colors of Baja Breeze and Night of Navy. I used to say that Baja Breeze was my favorite Stampin Up color but I gave up saying that because I have about 10 favorite Stampin Up colors now.

Stamp-A-Stack Glimmer
Last night I had a Valentine’s Stamp-A-Stack. The first card they made use Red Glimmer Paper. How can anyone make a Valentine without using Red Glimmer Paper. They just go together. The Whisper White card stock in the middle was embossed with the heart border from a Big Shot embossing folder set called Adorning Accent Folders. It is a very simple card but I love the bling.

Hearts A Flutter Valentine
This card uses the Hearts A Flutter Stamp Set and Matching Framelits (you can get them both in a bundle and save some money!) as well as Itty Bitty Banners and the matching Framelits for that set called Bitty Banners. Then the bottom of the card was cut with the Large Scallop Edgelits and then embossed with Delicate Designs.
Valentine’s Day is coming soon but there is still time to order. Click here before it is too late.

Third Card in Our Stamp-A-Stack
The third card we made uses Betsy’s Blossoms Stamp Set and the matching wheel called Betsy’s Blooms. The greeting was from Petite Pairs. The colors were Sahara Sand, Midnight Muse and Gumball Green. I like the way the Gumball Green pops out.
Stamp-A-Stack Continued
Another card we made used the stamp set called Field Flowers. I love this stamp set because it is a two step set. You stamp the stems and the flowers separately. It reminds me of visiting my Grandparents in Vermont. The had 100’s of acres of land surrounding their house filled with flowers that looked like these. This card is one of those you can make in a couple of minutes when you are in a hurry. Very easy! We used Soft Suede and Cajun Craze.
Stamp-A-Stack Class For Beginners
This week I held a Stamp-a-stack class for beginner stampers. I think everyone had a good time and learned a few things about stamping.
One card we made was a design I made at Leadership last year. I changed it a bit but for the most part it is the same. We used Mixed Bunch Stamp Set, the Blossom Punch and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.
Christmas Swap
I am honored to belong to a group of fellow demonstrators who are so talented. We share many thoughts and ideas together. Most are stamp related but not everything. A member of this group organized a swap amongst the rest of us. I don’t usually participate in swaps but these ladies are so talented that I wanted to. My card used a variety of stamps sets. The wreath is from Daydream Medallions. The ornament is from Ornament Keepsakes and the saying is from Greetings of the Season. You can’t really tell by the picture but the ornament was put on with Dimensionals so it gives it a little depth. I embossed everything in gold with Stampin Up’s embossing powder. Remind me to show you the difference between SU’s embossing powder and another company’s powder. I will have to get Rob to use his fancy camera for the close up picture. You wouldn’t think something like embossing powder would make a difference but it was amazing how much better SU’s powder came out.
Stamp-A-Stack Part One
Here is one of the cards we made at the last Christmas Card Club meeting we had. I used the stamp set Evergreen which is a two step stamp set. After stamping the tree we used the Labels Collections of framelits to cut it out and then used the next larger size to cut out a piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock. We then pierced the Label using the Paper Piercing Pack from the Holiday Catalog. The Designer Series Paper called Be Of Good Cheer from the Annual Catalog was cut on an angle and the sentiment is from Petite Pairs.
