I thought the stamp set called Four Feathers would make a great masculine card. This set also has matching Framelits called Feathers and you can save 15% by buying both in a bundle. They are in the Holiday Catalog which ends January 5th. I am not sure why they are in the Holiday catalog as you don’t usually use feathers for holidays but I am glad they are because I love them.
The “Four You” stamp is from the set called A Round Array. It also has a matching punch called 7/8″ Scallop Circle. The sentiment “celebrate” is from Endless Birthday Wishes. This set is not in the catalog but you can still buy it. There are a number of sets that aren’t in any catalog. You can see them if you click on “Merchandise Not In The Catalog” at the top of this page.
This is another card we made at the class I held at our local Art Center. It is a bookmark card. The receiver can actually take the bookmark off the card to use and still have a card to look at.
When you remove the bookmark, there is a hidden birthday message underneath. It was very easy to make. I just took a 1.75″ x 8.5″ piece of cardstock and scored it in half. Then I added the Designer Series Paper (1.5″ x 8.5″), the Circle (2″ Circle Punch) and the Sweetheart on the end. Inside are two magnets that stick to each other that hold the bookmark in place. Cute, huh?
I saw a card similar to this one on Pinterest but the people (as there were many) who made it used either butterflies or hearts. They also used different colors then I did so although I did CASE (Copy & Share Everything) it, I still made it my own by changing it. This is totally allowed in papercrafting especially for people that are not very creative (like me!).

Stampin Up! makes so many stamp sets that it is hard to show every single one to my Club members since we only meet once a month. This next card shows a couple of the new sets because I am just running out of time! The first set is Stampin Up’s new Photopolymer Stamps and is called Designer Typeset. This is SU’s first set of clear stamps and is being offered on a trial basis. The second stamp set is a sneak peek from the 2013/2014 Annual Catalog that will be out on May 31st. It is called Round Array and matches the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch from the Occasions Catalog. You can get a Bundle which includes both the stamp set and the matching punch for 15% off between now and May 30th!
Here is another card using the A Round Array stamp set which will be in the new annual catalog coming out in June. You can order this set now as a sneak peek item. It matches the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch that is in the Occasions Catalog. If you order it before May 31st you can get a discount by ordering the bundle! The punches fit great in the Soda Pop Tops that I flattened using my Big Shot.
I have decided that the weather is just doesn’t realize that it is Spring so I thought maybe if I did a Springy (is that even a word?) card that maybe it will attract some attention and this cold weather will go away! Are you listening weather people??
