You & Betsy’s Blossoms

One of the best things about Stampin Up! (I think I say that a lot!) is that everything coordinates with each other.  The papers and cardstock match the ribbon, markers and Designer Series Paper.  Sometimes, as much as we would love to, we don’t always have everything.  I saw some Designer Series Paper I really liked but I did not have it on hand.  Therefore, I made my own using the stamp set called Betsy’s Blossoms.  Unless you know every product that Stampin Up! offers, you would never know this is not Designer Series Paper.

If you look closely at the card, you will see the Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock underneath the strip of flowers is scalloped.  I did this using the Stampin Trimmer Rotary Addition and the Tiny Wave Stampin Trimmer Rotary Cutting Blade.  It turns your regular cutter into a Rotary Trimmer and Stampin Up! offers few different shapes for you to use.  It was just as easy as cutting a straight line.

Betsy’s Blossoms

Right now I am waiting for my order from the new catalog to arrive so I decided to take out a set I haven’t used in quite a while.  This set, called Betsy’s Blossoms was actually one of the sneak peeks from last year’s catalog although the colors I used are new in the 2013/2014 catalog that just came out on May 31st.  They care Bermuda Bay and Soft Sky.  You might remember them because they were In Colors a few years ago.  I love putting them together.

Third Card in Our Stamp-A-Stack

The third card we made uses Betsy’s Blossoms Stamp Set and the matching wheel called Betsy’s Blooms.  The greeting was from Petite Pairs.  The colors were Sahara Sand, Midnight Muse and Gumball Green.  I like the way the Gumball Green pops out.

June 2012 Club Projects

The first card we made for our June Club used the new In Color called Midnight Muse.  It is a beautiful dark, rich color.  The stamp sets were Make A Cake and Itty Bitty Banners along with the new Bitty Banners Framelits. Love thses banners!

The next card we did used the new In Colors called Primrose Petals, Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple.  We also used Daffodil Delight.  The stamp set is called Betsy’s BLossoms.  The ribbon is one of the new ribbons in the catalog in Gumball Green.

The last card we did we used the Summer Smooches Desginer Series Paper.  Then we made Pinwheels!  So simple yet so cute!

2012/2013 Sneak Peek

This is a sneak peek of some of the new In Colors and stamp sets.  It uses the stamp sets called Betsy’s Blossoms and Layered Labels.  If you look closely you can see new ribbon in Gumball Green!  I love this ribbon!  I used a couple of the new inks called Primrose Petals and Gumball Green.
