Designer Typeset Photopolymer Stamps

Stampin Up just came out with their first clear Photopolymer stamp set called Designer Typeset.  To be totally honest, this caused quite a stir with Stampin Up demonstrators!  In the past, most all clear stamps just did not stamp and well as Stampin Up rubber stamps.  I even had a few before I became a demonstrator and I was never truly happy with any of them.  You just didn’t get a clear, crisp image and they yellowed over time.

After doing a lot of research, Stampin Up has come up with a set of their own.  It is made with a high quality material that will not yellow over time.  Being the skeptical person I am, I decided I would try these new stamps but I know I would never like them!  Well I have news for you!  I do like them!  They are very sticky and do not fall off the clear block.  They stamp a very clear image and you can see where you are stamping so there is no need for a Stamp-a-ma-jig.  My favorite part of them is the letters.  You can now stamp any words you want!  I really love that part!

Here is my first card I made with these new stamps.  It is a very very very simple card because I was more about playing with the stamps then worrying about designing something.  Tomorrow you will see another card made with these Photopolymer Stamps.

I also used the Make A Cake stamp set with this card.

June 2012 Club Projects

The first card we made for our June Club used the new In Color called Midnight Muse.  It is a beautiful dark, rich color.  The stamp sets were Make A Cake and Itty Bitty Banners along with the new Bitty Banners Framelits. Love thses banners!

The next card we did used the new In Colors called Primrose Petals, Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple.  We also used Daffodil Delight.  The stamp set is called Betsy’s BLossoms.  The ribbon is one of the new ribbons in the catalog in Gumball Green.

The last card we did we used the Summer Smooches Desginer Series Paper.  Then we made Pinwheels!  So simple yet so cute!
