Goodbye Oh, Hello!

Oh HelloOh, Hello is another Stampin’ Up! stamp set that is going to retire at the end of this month.  The great thing about this set was it came out the same time as the Ovals Collections Framelits so they matched perfectly.  It was also one of the first sets that came out that had the chevron design that is so popular right now.  If you like this set you need to order it before June 1st when it will be gone forever.

I paired this stamp set with a sneak peek of Designer Series Paper called Moonlight that will be in the new catalog beginning June 2nd.  I really like this new paper because it uses the new 2014/2015 In Colors that are coming out.  The particular paper I used has Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey in it.  The ribbon is also a new In Color (Blackberry Bliss).  You are going to love the new ribbon.  It ties very easily and looks very rich.

Lovely As A Tree

Lovely As A Tree

I am so happy that the stamp set called Lovely As A Tree was not retired!  It has broken all records of any stamp set that has been in the catalog.  I think it first showed up in the 2001/2002 came out and I am glad it is sticking around.  Even Shelli Garnder, the CEO of Stampin’ Up! said she hopes it will never retire.  The one sad thing about this card is the sentiment is from Oh, Hello and that is retiring at the end of this catalog year.  I really love the sentiments in that set so I will be sad to see it go.  Actually, I am not sure why I am sad about it because I own it!  The background of this card was made using the background stamp called Hardwood.  This stamp is in the Occasions Catalog and I am hoping it will go into the annual catalog too!

Oh Hello Thanks

Oh Hello

This stamp set, called Oh, Hello, originally was in the 2013 Occasions Catalog.  Some of the stamps in the “mini” catalogs are carried over to the next Annual Catalog and some are not.  You never know until the Annual Catalog actually comes out.  I was so glad when this stamp set made it.  I love the fonts in this set as well as all the chevrons.  Then it throws in this vintage flower so no matter what your style is, you can use this set.

The Stampin’ Up! retirement list is coming out April 21st.  This is a much dreaded list because every year some of my favorite stamps and accessories are on the list.  I will be posting the list as soon as I can so make sure you come back and check my blog that day.  Wait.  You should be checking my blog everyday!  Just in case you miss a day, do make an effort to come on the 21st.  I usually post around 6 AM but it will probably be later than that on that morning.  First of all, I can’t think that clearly so early in the day so if I tried to post the list, it would probably be messed up.  Secondly, I am not sure what time Stampin’ Up! will post it but I will do it as soon as possible.  Just a friendly reminder ~ all the items are available until they are sold out.  Then they will be gone forever, so if you really want something, order quickly!  This includes stamps and accessories!

Oh, Hello Simple Card

This card uses the stamp set called Oh, Hello from the Occasions Catalog.  I needed a thank you card and didn’t have a lot of time.  This took me about 5 minutes to make.  To bring it up a notch, I embossed the top and the bottom using the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder.  It just shows you that you don’t always need a fancy card with lots of embellishments all the time.

Oh Hello Meets Dress Up Framelits

The Dress Up Framelits is an example of a Stampin Up product that I did not need to have…that is until I saw the cutest cards made with it!  There are just some adorable cards and projects made with it so of course I had to order it!

I cut the dress out of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper.  The apron is made with White Tea Lace Paper Doilies that are in the Occasions Catalog.  Of course the stamp is from the Oh, Hello Stamp Set.  Doesn’t this remind you of the colors of a summer picnic?

Thanks So Much

This card uses the stamp set Oh Hello from the Spring Catalog.  I cut it out using the Window Frame Collection Framelits which were in the Holday Catalog but still available for purchase.   Then I cut a square out of Bashful Blue to highlight the stamps.  The Designer Series Paper is called Parker’s Patterns and is also in the Spring Catalog.  The card fits into a regular A2 envelope because I cut the card base to 4.5 by 4.25.

Right now if you purchase all the items above, you will be eligible to get free production from the Sale-a-bration catalog!

Oh Hello Meets Hearts A Flutter

The Hearts A Flutter Framelits do not have to be used for Valentine’s only.  This set can be used year round.  In this card I cut some Print Poetry Designer Series Paper with the banner framelit and then stamped Thanks So Much from the Oh Hello Stamp Set.  All these items can be found in the Spring Catalog.

I think it is time for another Club member contest.   The first two members who post a comment on this post AND another post between now and our March meeting will win a prize.

Oh, Hello!

Oh, Hello is one of the stamp sets I received at 2013 Leadership.  I love this set because it has so many uses.  People who are into Vintage cards love it and people, like me, who like clean bold cards love it.  It goes with the Ovals Collection Framelits and you can buy it as a bundle and save money too!  In this card I also used the Honeycomb Embossing Folder which is also in the 2013 Spring Catalog. If you buy the Oh, Hello Bundle, the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and the Raspberry Ripple 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon, you will be eligible to pick something FREE out of the Sale-a-bration Catalog!

Oh, Hello

I really like the Oh, Hello stamp set with the matching Oval Collection Framelits that you can buy separately or save money by buying the Bundle.  You are probably going to see a lot of this stamp set in the near future.  I used Melon Mambo and Gumball Green as my colors.  The piece of Designer Series Paper is from the Spring Catalog and it is called Print Poetry and the 3/8″ Striped Organdy Ribbon is in the Spring Catalog too.  It comes in Old Olive, Melon Mambo and Marine Mist.
