This is the second card we made at our monthly Club Meeting.  I had one card we made, that I will show you in the next day or two, that took a little longer to make so I decided I needed a quick and easy card.  I like showing the members how you can make a card that won’t take long when you are in a hurry.

I used the stamp set called Petal Potpourri.  It is in the 2015 Occasions Catalog.  I love this set because it has a matching punch called Flower Medallion Punch and you can save 15% by buying both.  The center of the flower also matches the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch which is in the Annual Catalog.

Petal Potpourri Blendabilities

I don’t have an eye for art.  This is one of the reasons I love to stamp because even the uncreative people like me can do it.  Stampin’ Up! makes is even easier because everything coordinates so there is no guessing.  Stampin’ Up! also puts out a lot of videos showing how to use their products.  This makes it even easier!

I used the stamp set called Petal Potpourri to make this card.  This set is in the 2015 Occasions Catalog and it has a matching punch (buy both and save 15%).  It is a perfect set to use with the Blendabilities.  The flowers on this card are actually flat but the way I colored them using the Blendabilities makes them seem like they curl.  I thought it looks kind of cool (I know.  My kids call me a geek).  All I did was color the flowers using the darkest colors on the ends and in the center and then used the lightest color in the middle.  It is easy.  If I can do it, so can you!

Watercooler Challenge

It is time again for another Watercooler Challenge card.  The challenge is to CASE (copy and share everything) a card from the Stampin’ Up! 2015 Occasions Catalog.  I chose to CASE the card on page 36.  Here is my version of this card:

I used the designer Series Paper called Stacked With Love (the same as the catalog card).  The flower is from Petal Potpourri that has a matching punch called Flower Medallion Punch.  You can buy both in a Bundle and save 15%!  The tag is from a Big Shot Bigz Die called Party Pennants Bigz L (no idea what the L means!).  The sentiment is from Celebrate Today which is also in the 2015 Occasions Catalog.
