A Valentine Easel Card

I know, another Easel Card.  I can’t help myself.  They are so easy to make and I love the way they look.  This time I used the stamp set from the Occasions Catalog called Hearts A Flutter with the matching Framelits (you can save some money by ordering the BUNDLE).  The directions to make an Easel Card are HERE.  The inside stamp is from Pretty Postage and punched out using the 1″ Square Punch and the Postage Stamp Punch.

Take a normal sized piece of cardstock (to make A2) 5.5 x 8.5 and fold in half.  Cut a line up to the fold at 1.5″ and 4″.  This gives you three pieces on the front of the card.  Glue the two out side pieces down.

Score the middle section at 2 1/8″ .  Then decorate.  I used the Window Frames Collection Framelits and the Bold Snowflake Stamp.  The DSP is Be Of Good Cheer and the inside stamp is from Pretty Postage.

Easel Card

I have seen a lot of Easel Cards online lately and decided to make my own.  There are all kinds of different styles to do this.  The card I made is a called a Center Easel Card.  I used one of the Single Stamps that we are now able to buy from Stampin Up.  This is a new stamp that is not in any catalog.  It is called Bold Snowflake and comes in clear mount only.  I also used the set of Framelits called Window Frames Collection from the Holiday Mini.  The Designer Series Paper is called Be of Good Cheer.  I love the colors in this paper.  The “thanks” stamp is from Pretty Postage and was punched out using the 1″Square Punch and the Postage Stamp Punch.
