A Fun Fold Card With Totally Trees

This is one of the cards we made at our monthly Stamp Club. It is a Fun Fold card which means it doesn’t fold in the conventional way. There were so many awesome Holiday products in the 2016 Holiday Catalog that I sometimes forget there are also non-holiday stamp sets. This card used the stamp set called Totally Trees. It is a fun set because it has seven different trees you can use. The sentiments are from the stamp set called Thankful Thoughts, which is in the 2016 Annual Catalog.

Here is the inside of the card:

This style of Fun Fold is very easy to make. Instead of scoring the card in half like a normal card, you score your 8.5″ x 5.5″ cardstock at 2 1/8″ and 6 3/8″. Then I just put the piece of Soft Suede cardstock in the center. You just to remember to only put your adhesive on the top half of the cardstock or it won’t open.

Totally Trees

This week has been amazing weather-wise. We covered three of the seasons in this card. Last week it was Fall with the trees full of bright colors and fluttering to the ground. It was in the mid to high 50’s during the day. Then on Saturday it was almost 70 degrees and Rob was out mowing the lawn (well more like mulching the leaves) in shorts. Then came Sunday. It started snowing. We are supposed to get anywhere between 2 and 18 inches. As of writing this post we have gotten about 6 so far. Schools are closed and I am hiding inside.

I made this card using the stamp set called Totally Trees. It is in the 2016 Holiday Catalog. It doesn’t really fit into all the holidays this time of year but it certainly fit well with the weather lately! This set will be available until January 3rd which is the last day for the Holiday Catalog. The 2017 Occasions Catalog starts on January 4th and you are going to love it. Totally trees is a stamp set that is in the 2016 Holiday Catalog. It is such a cute stamp set that the minute I saw it, I knew I had to have it. I made one card using this set earlier that you can see HERE. This set actually has 27different stamps in it. That is a lot of stamps.

The sentiment comes from a Paper Pumpkin Kit. I’ll honest. Sometimes I am not a big fan of the kit of the month but the great thing is, you get a stamp set every month that you can use forever. Plus, if you don’t like the kit the way they put it together, you can always change it and make something different. I love that about these kits. Totally Trees Sneak Peek

Totally Trees, Labeler Alphabet

Here is a card I made using a stamp set that will be in the 2016 Holiday Catalog. This catalog will be available to order from beginning September 1st. Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators are able to pre-order the products during the month of August. It is one of those great perks you get when being a Demonstrator. If you would like more information, let me know!

The stamp set I used is called Totally Trees. The second I saw the palm tree and coconuts I knew I had to own it. It is a fun set that has all different trees with it. All together there are 27 stamps in this set!

The sentiment was made using the Labeler Alphabet stamp set. This is another fun set that is in the Annual Catalog (and therefore available to order right away) that is like those old labeler guns where you have to turn the dial to the letter and press really hard to emboss it on the plastic tape.
