Hello everyone. It is time for another Stamp Off Challenge with Buffy, Jackie and me. This time our challenge is to use the retiring InColors. These colors are Grapefruit Grove, Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch. I managed to use them all except Lovely Lipstick.
I first have to say, as most of you know, I am moving shortly and had to pack all my stamping supplies up in February. Therefore, I had to make a bunch of cards (58 to be exact) to post on my blog back then and unfortunately, I used some products that are no longer available. I apologize for this but I can’t create anything new to replace it because my inks, stamps and card stock are all packed away in a pile of a gazillion boxes. I wouldn’t even know where to start looking. I used the embossing folder called Basket Weave which is no longer available but you could use any other embossing folder instead and your card would look just as nice.
To make this card I used the stamp set called Abstract Impressions. This set is in the Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog. It is a 2 step stamp set which means you use two or more stamps to make an image. In this case the flowers were stamped in Pineapple Punch and Grapefruit Grove ink to make the image. I stamped the stems in Call Me Clover and then the flowers. I added the sentiment last. I love this sentiment and it is very fitting for the Covid-19 pandemic. I also added a piece of the Pineapple Punch 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon to my card.
Now, let’s go see what creations Buffy and Jackie made using these retiring Incolors.
