Flower Shop Hello

Flower Shop, Petite Petals

Are you tired of flowers yet?  I am not.  I love the flower sets and matching punches that Stampin’ Up! sells.  This particular card uses two of the matching sets.  The larger flower is from the stamp set called Flower Shop.  That set goes with the matching punch called Pansy Punch.   You can still buy both in a Bundle and save 15%.  The smaller flower is a stamp set from the Occasions Catalog called Petite Petals.  It also has a matching punch called Petite Petals and you can also buy both in a Bundle and save 15%

I also used the Framelits called Apothecary Accents and a Tea Lace Paper Doily for the background.  I enbossed the Strawberry Slush cardstock with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and the “hello” stamp is from Perfect Pennants.

Another Fun Fold Card

Here is another Fun Fold card I made.  This time I used the Apothecary Accents Framelits to make the “windows”.  It was a little hard to line up until I had a brainstorm and decided to use Post-It Notes to help.  I don’t know what we did without those Post-it Notes but they sure make life easier when it comes to cardmaking!  The “Thinking of You” stamp is from the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set.  I made the flowers using the Floral Fusion Sizzlits and the leaves were made using the Little Leave Sizzlits.  Of course, the strips going across the card is Epic Day This and That Washi Tape.  I love that stuff!

New Single Stamps & Sale-a-bration

Stampin Up has added two new assortments of “never before seen” single stamps.  You can order these stamps until March 31st!  I used one of these single stamps in my card today.  It is called Basic Label and fits perfectly with one of the Apothecary Accents Framelits.  I then used a stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog called Vintage Verses. The Designer Series Paper is also from the Sale-a-bration catalog called Sycamore Street.  You can get the paper and/or the stamp set for free with an order of $50 for one or $100 for both!  Better hurry though.  Sale-a-bration is only for a limited time!

Christmas Thank You’s

Here is another card that we made at our Club Meeting.  It uses the single stamp called Bold Snowflake and Curly Cute.  I thought it would be a great card to use for some of those Thank You Cards you might need to write after the Holidays.  This card uses the colors Baja Breeze and Island Indigo.  The snowflake fits perfectly with the Blossom Punch and the Thank You is cut out using the Apothecary Accents Framelits.

July 2012 Club Projects

I had a great time playing with my merchandise from the new Stampin Up catalog.  This catalog is full of things I just have to own!

The first card we did use the new Chevron Embossing Folder, the new In Colors called Summer Starfruit and Midnight Muse and the Reason to Smile stamp set you can purchase in the month of July for $5 with a $50 order.  You can even choose the set in wood or clear mount.

The second card we made used the new Large Scalloped Edgelit and the Paper Piercing Pack.  The colors were Early Expresso and Tempting Turquoise.  We used the Tempting Turquose Embossing Powder with a stamp from Fabulous Florets.

The last card we made used the new Layered Labels stamp set with the Apothecary Accents Framelits.  I love all the Framelits.  They are so easy to just stamp and cut out.  The colors we used were Rose Red, Regal Rose and Whisper White.  We finished it off with the Scallop Trim Border Punch and then cut two flowers using the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and then added bling using the Rhinestones.
