When I attended the Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference this past January in Orlando, they showed us a few new techniques.  I used one of them in this card.  If you look carefully you can see where the big stamp in the middle has a ‘shadow” that matched the stamp.  You get this “shadow” by turning your stamp over and inking up the back of it and stamping it on your cardstock.  Then, you turn it around the normal way and stamp over it.  It outlines the stamp.  I think that is an awesome way to use your Photopolymer Stamps!

For this card I used the stamp set called Balloon Bash.  It is in the 2015 Occasions Catalog.  The Designer Series Paper is called Birthday Bash.

Fun Fold Club Card

Fun Fold, Birthday Bash

For our Club meeting last night we made a fun fold card using the stamp set called Balloon Bash.   The Designer Series Paper is called Birthday Bash and both are in the 2015 Occasions Catalog. The inside sentiment is from the stamp set called Hooray It’s Your Day.  Here is what the card looks like when opening.

I got this idea from another demonstrator named Julie Davison.  Click HERE for a great video she did showing how to make this card.  It uses a 4″ x 9 3/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock and closes to the size of a regular A2 card (4.25″ x 5.5″).  You just score it in 3 places and cut it in one.

Techno Stamper Challenge

I was looking at Pinterest today and saw a sketch challenge that I liked so I decided to participate in it.  It is from Techno Stamper and it is called Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 355.  Here is what the sketch challenge looks like:

I used the stamp set called Balloon Bash.  It is one of the set in the Stampin’ Up! 2015 Occasions catalog.  It has balloons!  Who doesn’t love balloons?  The Designer Series Paper is from a couple of different packs.  One is Moonlight and the other is Lullaby.  Both of them are in the 2015 Annual Catalog.

Watercolor Challenge

This week’s Watercolor Challenge is a sketch challenge.  I love sketch challenges because it makes it so much easier to come up with a card.  All you need to do is pick some stamps and colors and follow the sketch.  Here is this week’s sketch:

Balloon Bash

I used the stamp set called Balloon Bash.  It is in the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog.  It is a Photopolymer Stamp set which makes it so easy to line things up.  This card did take a little “fussy” cutting but the lines were mostly straight so it wasn’t hard to do.  To see the other Watercolor artist’s creations click HERE.
