Bombs Away Birthday Photopolymer Stamp Set

I am excited to announce that the second photopolymer stamp set is now available. Bombs Away Birthday (item 133411) is a fun, unique set that will certainly bring a smile to anyone.

What makes them so great?

  • They’re entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
  • They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
  • Can you say sticky? (Don’t worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
  • They’re age tested. They won’t yellow or cloud up over time.
  • I could go on, but I’ll let you try them for yourself.

They are clearly a great choice.

Summer Silhouettes

This next card uses the Pleated Paper Tutorial that I got from another demonstrator named Cindy Beach.  I thought it was beautiful and decided to use it for my next Club card.  I also used the stamp set called Summer Silhouettes which is a two step stamp set.  This means that there are various stamps that go together.  In this case, the stems and the flowers are two stamps so you can use different colors without having to use markers.  The Designer Series Paper I used is from Be Of Good Cheer.

Baby Wipes and Secret Garden Oops

I made this card using the Baby Wipes Technique.  To do this technique all you need are re-inkers and baby wipes.  I used Pink Pirouette, Rose Red and Daffodil Delight ink.  Put a couple of baby wipes in a dish and squeeze the ink onto the baby wipes.  I like to do it in a circular motion (like a Bull’s eye) like this:

Then I used the baby wipes as an ink pad.  The result is something like Tie Dying.  The stamp set I used is called Secret Garden.  The happy b-day stamp is from the Sale-a- bration catalog and is called Pretty Petites.  You can get this stamp set and/or the matching punch called Petite Curly Label Punch for free with a qualifying order!

This card could be used as an April Fools Joke. After I made it, I realized that I had made a mistake.  Normally I would just recycle the paper and start over again but I wanted to show you that even though I am a demonstrator, I make the same mistakes as anyone.  I just hide them better!  Can you tell what I did wrong?

Yes, the card is upside down!  Happens to the best of us!

Best of Flowers For Challenges

I am not sure how this happened again but I decided to participate in two challenges again this week and managed to make one card to fit both.  I didn’t do it on purpose this time.  I just made one card for Freshly Made Sketches and then went to Create with Connie and Mary and the sketch fit both.  Here are the two sketches:

This time I used the Best of Flowers Stamp Set.  Stampin Up! is featuring one “Best Of” stamps a month during 2013 as part of their 25th anniversary.  I really like the Best of Flowers that was March’s set.  I used the “thumping” method on the Hydrangea.  This is where you color it with one color (I used Wisteria Wonder) and them ‘thump” another color over the top of the first color with a marker.  I used Elegant Eggplant for the second color.

Patterned Party

Today I noticed that the argyle in the Patio Party Designer Series Paper matches the argyle in the Patterned Party Stamp Set.  The only problem is argyle can be kind of manly but in this case it is Primrose Pink which is not the most masculine color (although would make a nice shirt!).  In any case, I decided to make a birthday card using these two items and I think they look nice together.

Mixed Bunch

By now I am sure you are asking yourself, when is she going to stop using that Primrose Petals.  I hate to say this, but hopefully never.  This is on In Color I will be very sad to see go!.

This card uses the Primrose Petals Core’dination Paper.  After you emboss this paper you can lightly sand it to have the white show through.  I think it is a great effect.  The flower is from Mixed Bunch and the leaves were cut using my Big Shot and the Little Leaves Sizzlits.

Build a Blossom

I haven’t used this Build a Blossom stamp set with the matching Blossoms Petals Builder Punch in a very long time.  I love making flowers with this set because they are 3 dimensional and really add a lot to a card.  I used the Adorning Accents Edgelits on the whisper white and then embossed it with the matching Adorning Accents Embossing Folder.  I think it adds a little elegance to cards.

Quint Essential Flower Challenges

This next card I made is used to participate in two challenges.  The reason I did this was because I love the colors for the challenge of Create With Connie and Mary and at the same time I found a new challenge site that is just meant for my kind of style.  It is called Freshly Made Sketches and they love the fresh and clean style that is me!

Floral Fusion & Pretty Petites

This is another card that I made a long time ago and never posted.  I CASE’d it from another demonstrator and then changed it a little to make it my own.  It uses two Big Shot dies – Sizzlets Floral Fusion for the flowers and the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die for the chevrons.  The “For You” stamp is from our Sale-a-bration catalog and is called Pretty Petites and perfectly fits the Petite Curly Label Punch.  You can still get both these items until March 22 with a qualifying order.
