Beautiful Bouquet

I don’t know about you, but I am always seeing card inspiration everywhere I go.  Rob thinks I am a little crazy but if you are a stamper, I am sure you do the same thing.  The other day I was in an unnamed craft store buying some candles and saw this pretty wreath.  It was made of grapevine and had artificial flowers on one side.  I took a picture of it because I knew I could make a pretty card with the same layout.

To make this card I first stamped the circle from the stamp set called Swirly Frames in Soft Suede Ink.  Then I stamped the flowers and leaves from the stamp set called Beautiful Bouquet in Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather and Old Olive inks.  I cut them out using the matching dies called Bouquet Bunch.  This stamp set and matching dies are big sets.  The stamp set has 37 stamps in it and there are 21 dies.  Both of them are being carried over into the new Annual Catalog.

What gives you inspiration?  I would love to know.

A Color Stamp Off Challenge

Good morning!  Every other Friday is the day Buffy, Jackie and I do a Stamp Off Challenge.  Today we have a color challenge.

These color are part of the 2016 In Colors.  They will be retiring on May 31st, which makes me sad.  I love this set of In Colors.  As a reminder, if you like them you should purchase them pretty soon.  Once the retirement list comes out they disappear quickly.

Here is my card using these colors:

I decided to use the stamp set called Beautiful Bouquet.  This set has matching Framelits called Bouquet Bunch and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.  First I stamped the stems and leaves in Emerald Envy on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock.  Then I stamped the flowers in Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo and cut them out using my Big Shot and the matching dies.  I know it is hard to see, but the piece of Peekaboo Peach Cardstock I used for the background was embossed using a new Embossing Folder the is in the 2018 Occasions Catalog called Simple Stripes.

Now, lets go see what fantastic creations Jackie and Buffy made.  I am always awed by their creativity.

Hello Friend

As you all probably know by now, I love wreath stamps.  I have purchased every single one that Stampin’ Up! has produced and I will never give them up.  I don’t know why I love them so much but it is what it is.  The wreath in Hello Friend is one of my favorites that I own.  It is super easy to stamp and you can decorate it any way you wish.  In this case, I used the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.  The flowers were just the right size and I love the font in this set.  It is elegant but fun too.  The best part is this stamp set has matching dies called Bouquet Bunch Framelits and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.

The colors I used for this card are Fresh Fig, Sweet Sugarplum, Emerald Envy, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White.  I also used the Fresh Fig 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon.  Using ribbon is part of my new catalog resolution.  I am not doing as well as I wished but I am getting better!

Beautiful Bouquet Sketch Challenge

Today’s Stamp Off Challenge by Buffy, Jackie and me is a sketch challenge.  These are my favorite challenges because, frankly, I find them the easiest.  All you have to do is look at the sketch and then pick out some products that would go with it.  Here is the sketch.

I decided to use Beautiful Bouquet to make a card using this sketch.

This is such a fun set.  It has matching Framelits called Bouquet Bunch and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.  There are 37 stamps in this set and 21 dies!  That is an amazing amount.  There are 15 sentiments included and some of them are for the inside of a card.

The Designer Series Paper is called Delightful Daisy.  The thing I love the most about Stampin’ Up’s Designer Series Paper is it is two sided so if you don’t like one side you can use the other. The only problem I run into is most of the time I like both sides and can’t make up my mind which to use!

Now let’s go see what Jackie and Buffy made using this card sketch.  I am sure we will love both of them!

Don’t forget there is a little more than a week left for Bonus Days and The Christmas in July Starter Kit Offer.  Hurry before these great events are gone!

Beautiful Bouquet

This is the third card we made at our monthly stamp club meeting last week.  I do need to say that my stamp ladies are the best!  They are such fun to get together with and we all get along really well.  It is such a great group!  I love them all!

We used the stamp set called Beautiful Bouquet to make this card.  This stamp set has matching Framelits called Bouquet Bunch and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.  I know I say that a lot  but Stampin’ Up! really has a ton of stamp sets that do have matching dies and they always offer 10% off if you buy them together in a Bundle the first year they appear.  I probably own all of them!

The banner and sentiment are from the stamp set called Birthday Banners and the Framelits are called Bunch of Banners.

Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Off Challenge

TGIF because it is time for another Buffy, Jackie and Susan Stamp Off Challenge!  This week our challenge is to use Framelits or Thinlits in our project.

Now that I look at the picture of our challenge, I realize that maybe I read it wrong.  Maybe we were supposed to frame something.  Hmmm.  Well, if that is the case, I have once again broken the rules.  Oh wait.  There are no rules!  I love these challenges!

Well, maybe I did ok.  I did “frame” the sentiment with flowers.  I am going with that!

I used the stamp set called Beautiful Bouquet on this card.  This set has matching Framelits called Bouquet Bunch and you can save 10% by purchasing them both in a Bundle.  The sentiments come from the stamp set called Super Duper, which has large sentiments that I love.  The Designer Series Paper I used is called Colorful Theory.

Now, let’s go see if Buffy or Jackie broke the rules followed the challenge the way it was meant to be.
