A Bubble Over Celebration

Welcome to another BS & J Productions Stamp Off Challenge.  This time our challenge to is make a project with the words “celebrate” or “celebration” on it.

The best celebrations are bright and cheery so I decided to make my card using colors that reflect that.  They are Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight.  I used a stamp set from the 2018/2019 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog called Bubble Over.  This is such fun stamp set to use for a celebration.  It has matching dies called Bottles & Bubbles.  The die cut ‘celebrate” is from the Celebrate You Thinlits Die set.  Originally this set of dies was part of last year’s Sale-a-bration where you get get it for free.  Now you can purchase it.

Speaking of Sale-a-bration, it starts in just a few days (January 3rd).  You are going to love the choices of free products you can get with a qualifying order.  Plus, if you have an order of $250 or more you get an additional $25 over the normal Hostess Benefits.  This counts as an individual order or a group order.  If you JOIN my Stampin’ Up! family, you actually have two option this year.  You can get $175 worth of products for $99 (plus tax) or for $129 you can get an excusing Craft & Carry Tote plus $175 worth of products.  It is an amazing time to join.

Now, let’s go see what Buffy and Jackie made for this celebration challenge!

Bubble Over

Bubble Over is a stamp set that was carried over into the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog from another catalog.  I am so glad it was.  It is just a fun set to have and use and it has matching dies called Bottles & Bubbles Framelits.

The fun part of this card is I used the Stamparatus to make it.  That is why the bottles  are perfectly lined up.  I can never it get perfect when I try to stamp with a block but the Stamparatus takes care of that.  You just figure out where you want to place the first bottle and then stamp it.  Here I used Bermuda Bay Ink.

Then you leave the stamp in the same place just move the plate down one notch and stamp it again in Lemon Lime Twist.

The third time I stamped I used Pacific Point Ink.

It is the most awesome tool ever and it is now available for anyone to order!

Bubble Over

This is another card that we made at our monthly stamping club meeting.  We used the stamp set called Bubble Over with the matching framelits called Bottles and Bubbles.  You can purchase both of these in a Bundle and save 10% on the purchase price.

The card also uses a couple of products that you could earn for free with a qualifying purchase.  The Designer Series Paper we used is called Bubbles and Fizz.  It matches the Bubble Over Bundle perfectly,  You can’t buy this paper.  You can only get it for free.  Isn’t that just awful?! (Ha!).  This paper is full of bright colors.  The best part of Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper is that is has two different patterns on each side.  All the patterns in this set are gorgeous!

The other product we used on this card is from another item you can get for free.  The stamp set is called Amazing You and includes the celebrate sentiment.  Again, you can’t buy this set, you can only get it for free with a qualifying order.  There is only one month left to Sale-a-bration so better hurry before these free items are unavailable for good!

A Stamp Off Sketch Challenge

Hello again.  It is time for another Stamp Off Challenge.  This time our challenge is sketch one.

I don’t know why but this sketch was hard for me.  I thought about using hearts for it but it is after Valentine’s Day and I am sure everyone is tired of seeing hearts so I ruled them out.  I stared at my stamp sets for quite a while before deciding to deviate a tad from the sketch and use the Bubble Over stamp set.

I didn’t think it was too far of a stretch.  Well maybe it is.

Bubble Over is in the 2018 Occasions Catalog.  It has matching Framelits called Bottles & Bubbles and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.  Plus, it has matching Designer Series Paper called Bubbles & Fizz that you could get for FREE with a $50 order.  Order the Bubble Over Bundle, an ink pad and a pack of card stock and you will have enough to get the Designer Series Paper for free.  Free is always fun!

Now, let’s go see what Buffy and Jackie made.  They probably followed the sketch a little closer so I will now get some ideas on what I could have used!

Bubble Over

The 2018 Occasions Catalog has some really cute products in it.  One of my favorite stamp sets from this catalog is called Bubble Over.  It has a set of matching Framelits called Bottles and Bubbles and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.  What makes this set even better is it has matching Designer Series Paper that you can get for FREE with a qualifying order!  Yes, the Sale-a-bration Catalog has the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper in it.

To make this card I first cut out two sets of the bottles in Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist using the Bottles and Bubbles Framelits.  One of the sets I cut out I left as is and the second set I cut to use for the labels.  That way they match perfectly because they are cut from the same die.  I did the same for the bottle necks only I cut them out using the Bubbles & Fizz designer Series Paper.  I also cut the straws and the accent pieces around the labels out of this paper.  The bottle caps were cut out using Silver Foil Sheets.

If you purchase the Bubble Over Bundle, the Silver Foil Sheets and a pack of cardstock or ribbon you can earn the Designer Series Paper for Free!  How awesome is that!?!
