Celebration Time

Celebration Time is another stamp set that is retiring (boohoo!) on May 31st.  I have had a lot of fun with this stamp set.  It has matching Framelits called Celebration and you can still save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle until May 31st (or before if they run out of inventory).  That is something I should mention.  At the end of every catalog, when items get low or are gone from inventory, Stampin’ Up! will not be ordering any more so even though the catalog is still active, there might be a lot of products that are discontinued.  If you would like a list of things that have been discontinued already, let me know and I will email you one.

To make this card, I used put Embossing Paste on one of the masks in the Pattern Party Decorative Mask Set,  Then I took my markers (Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Bermuda Bay) and colored some of the little squares.  I stamped the cake with Bermuda Bay ink and then cut it out using one of the Framelits from Celebration.  The banner was cut out using the banner die from Large Numbers.  It fit the banner outline from Celebration Time perfectly.

Here are some more cards I made in the past using the Celebration Time stamp set and Celebration Framelits.

Celebration Time

Celebration Time is a fun birthday stamp set that has matching dies.  The dies are called Celebration and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.  The thing I like about this set is that it is different.  The dies cut out the stamps, as usual, but they also include three fun dies that make tags, a die that makes confetti, a bow, etc.  There are 14 dies in this set! I love it when Stampin’ Up! includes different dies with their sets.

I just realized that I did use ribbon I got for free during Sale-a-bration.  Sorry!  It is a beautiful sparkly ribbon in Calypso Coral.  Since the ribbon was sparkly, I used my Wink Of Stella on the presents to make them sparkle too.  I know it is hard to see it in the picture so you will just have to believe me that I did it.  As part of my goal to use Designer Series Paper and stop hoarding it, I used Fresh Florals in Blushing Bride.

The colors I used are Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Whisper White.

Celebration Time

I know December is usually full of Christmas cards and ideas but it is also one of the busiest months I have for birthdays.  I have 15 birthdays to celebrate between December 1st and Christmas Day.  That means you are going to see a lot of birthday cards.  That is ok though.  Birthdays are year round so I know you all need lots of ideas!

I used the stamp set called Celebration Time to make this card.  This stamp set has matching dies called Celebration and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.  The dies in this set are a lot of fun because not only do they include the dies needed to cut out the stamps, there are also a couple of other dies.  Two of them make fun tags so you could have your present tag match your card.

Happy birthday Ann, Taylor, John, Leslie, Cy, Asher, Ross, JoAnn……….

Let’s Party

It is Friday once again and time for another Stamp Off Challenge.  This time our challenge is about parties or party words or any words.  I decided to take it as all of those things.  That way I would be safe!

Here is the card I made.  I decided I needed to step it up after the amazing projects Jackie and Buffy made last week.

At first glance it looks pretty boring, although it is a boring card with nice colors!  This is what happens when you open it.

Pretty cool, huh!  It is called a Wiper Card.  I actually got the idea from a video I saw on Pinterest that Barb Mullikan made.  I just changed the design she made.

This is what it looks like open.

I used a couple of different stamp sets to make this card.  The first is called Celebration Time.  The sentiment, cake and party hat are all from that set.  It has matching Thinlits called Celebration and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.  The ‘Happy Birthday” sentiment is from Vertical Greetings.

Now, let’s go see what amazing projects Jackie and Buffy made.  As always, I am sure they will be awesome!

Celebration Time

This is the second card we made at our monthly club meeting.  We used a new stamp set from the 2017/2018 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog called Celebration Time.  This stamp set has matching Thinlits called Celebration and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.

One of the awesome things that Stampin’ Up! is doing in this catalog is they not only make Thinlits or Framelits to match a particular stamp in the set but they also add some extras.  In this case, the Celebration Thinlits will cut out the cake and the candle but it also has three tags to go with this stamp set.  As you can see, the Whisper White tag is one of them and the striped Berry Burst Tag is another.  There is also a tag that used the present stamp set.  All together there are 14 dies in this set.  Many of the die sets in this catalog are like that.  When you see a stamp set that says it has matching dies, make sure you check them out on the Big Shot pages to see what other dies are in the set.

Don’t forget the specials that are going on this month.  One of them is Bonus Days where you can earn coupons for your qualifying purchases.  There is also a great sign up special going on.  Sign up to be a Demonstrator during July and you get a Free Essentials Gift Pack and a stamp set from the Holiday Catalog that comes out in September!

Celebration Time

Deborah is a friend of mine and very talented Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Canada.  She is on a design team called Paper Craft Crew and they do challenges every week.  I haven’t participated in a challenge in a very long time so I decided to try this challenge.

I ordered a lot of new products from the Annual Catalog so I decided to use some of them for the card.

The stamp set I used is called Celebration Time.  It has matching Thinlits called Celebration that are so cute.  They cut out some of the images from the stamp set but they also cut a bunch of other images such as tags and a cute party hat.

I also decided to use the new Embossing Paste and Pattern Party Decorative Masks for the background of this card.  It was so easy to use!  I held down one of the Masks with Washi Tape.  Then I used one of the Palette Knives to spread the paste over the Mask.  It dries really quickly so you can start decorating your card fairly soon.  One of the nice things about the Embossing Paste is you can use it as is, which is white, or you can add some ink to it to make it whatever color you prefer.  I actually used it as is but it looks like Pool Party because I put it on Bermuda Bay cardstock.
