Sea Street & Circle Monogram

Sea Street, Circle MonogramAs I have told you before, I give my club members a card challenge every month.  Most of them participate.  I think they like it and it is a great way to have them use the merchandise they have purchased.  The only real requirement is that they try to use Stampin’ Up! merchandise only.  I usually don’t participate in the challenge because I want them to use their imaginations but I have the past couple of months.  Here is the June challenge:

Club Challenge June 2014-001I use My Digital Studio to design the challenges.  It is really quick and easy to do so.

For my card I used a new set out of the Stampin’ Up! 2014/2015 Annual Catalog that comes out on June 2nd.  It is called Sea Street.  The sentiment is one I designed by using the Circle Monogram stamp.  You just put in the item number and a window pops up where you can have the stamp say anything you want.  I love this because you can make a one and only stamp that is just for you!

A Fun Camera Card

Camera Card

I saw a card similar to this one when I was “hopping” on a blog hop only I got sidetracked and lost the web site I saw it on.  I think it was German Demonstrators hopping because it was not in English so I had no idea what they were saying.  Anyway, I thought it was kind of cute so I decided to try to figure out how to make something similar.  I used the Envelope Punch Board to make the camera card base.  I cut out the “viewer window” with my Ticket Duo Builder Punch.  The Designer Series Paper is called Kaleidoscope and is in the Occasion Catalog.  Of course, the stamp is one I designed called Circle Monogram.

Wetlands Happy Birthday

Wetlands

I have to say I just love those little pipers running along the shore in Florida.  They are so cute so when I saw this stamp set called Wetlands, I knew I had to get it.  The Masking Tape Technique is perfect to go along with this set.  All I did was lay a piece of masking tape on an ink pad, rub it a little and then press it onto the card stock.  For this card I used Island Indigo, Pool Party, Soft Sky and Sahara Sand.  The sentiment is one I designed using the Photopolymer Stamp called Circle Monogram.  To finish off the background, I used a piece of Sahara Sand card stock and ran it through my Big Shot using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.  There is still time for you to get this set free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration!  Hurry, this offer is only good until March 31st!

Stampin’ Up! Circle Monogram Stamp

demoheader_personalizednamestamp_demo_2.14_US_CA

I know I have mentioned before that Stampin’ Up! is now offering a new personalized stamp set called the Circle Monogram Stamp but I thought I would show you the three that I have designed and ordered.  I love these new stamps!  They are a lot of fun and they come out exactly as you designed them.  The first stamp is the one I will use on my catalogs and the back of my cards.  The second one is my favorite.  It is a Thank You stamp and says “You Are Truly Amazing” and “You Make My Heart Smile”.  I even added the little stars using the command key on my Mac.  The third stamp you have already seen and is a birthday stamp.

Susan Stamps Thank You Happy Birthday

They are very easy to order.  When you put the item number in a window automatically pops up where you type in what you want the stamp to say.  It is easy and fun!
