Cup Of Christmas

This is one of the cards we made at our monthly stamp class.  It uses the stamp set called Cup Of Christmas that is in the 2019 Holiday Catalog.  It has a set of matching dies called Cup Of Cheer and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.  The fun thing about this set is it is reversible.  The cup with the polka dots and another one with stripes can be stamped on both sides so you don’t have to do mirror stamped with them.  Plus the dies cut out the cups both ways.  It is patent pending and is such an awesome idea.

To make this card I first stamped the polka dot cup in Call Me Clover and cut it out using the matching die.  Then I cut out a Cherry Cobbler cup and layered it with another piece of Whisper White cardstock I cut out using the dies.  They have the stripes or a poinsettia to put on a cup.  The candy canes are two pieces.  There is a solid one for the back (I used Whisper White) and the striped you put on top. I stamped the sentiment and the holly in Call Me Clover ink too. The ribbon is called Cherry Cobbler 3/8″ Diagonal Striped Ribbon and is also in the Holiday Catalog.

Cup Of Christmas

Cup Of Christmas is a stamp set that is in the Stampin’ Up!® 2019 Holiday Catalog.  This stamp set is so much fun because some of the stamps are reversible!   Here is a video showing you what this means:

Isn’t that fun?!?

To make this card I only used a little bit of stamping.  Most of it uses the matching dies called Cup Of Cheer.  You can save 10% by punching the stamps set and the dies together in a Bundle.

I cut out the mug out of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and layered it with the white Poinsettia die I also had cut out using another die.  I cut out the candy cane from Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White cardstock and adhered them together.  I just love that candy cane!  I cut out the leaves along the bottom from Call Me Clover cardstock, as well as the bow and the bottom layer of the tag.  I stamped the word ‘Merry” using the Merry Christmas stamp and covering the word “Christmas” with Washi Tape, inking it in Call Me Clover ink, removing the Washi Tape and stamping it onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  This is called masking.  You can do this with any stamp when you only want to use a portion of it.   I repeated that using Cherry Cobbler ink the second time.  Then I used another die from the Cup of Cheer die set to cut out the words and layering them on top of the Call Me Clover tag.

I used a piece of 6″ x 6″ Regals Designer Series Paper for the background.
