The Big Shot Magnetic Platform

Magnetic Platform

The Big Shot Magnetic Platform is a must have if you love Framelits.  The magnet is much stronger than I imagined and it really keeps your Framelits in the exact spot you want them in.  I did a short video showing you how well they stick.  I even had a little trouble picking the Framelit up, as you will see.

Dress Up Again

I am warning you now.  There will be a lot of posts using the new Dress Up Framelits from the Occasions Catalog.  I love these Framelits, which I am sure you will be able to tell!

This time I made the skirt out of the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper for that is in the Sale-a-bration Catalog.  You can earn this paper FREE with a $50 purchase!  The jacket is made using Pool Party Card Stock and the buttons are Basic Pearls

Christmas Card Class Part One

Late last month I had the first of three Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stacks classses.  The group made 12 Christmas Cards (4 of 3 designs).  We had a great time.  I really need to start taking pictures of our meetings and classes so I can post them on here.

Here are the cards we made:

September 2012 Club Projects

Last Wednesday our Sackets Harbor Stampin Club met for our usual monthly meeting.Although it was a small group, we still had a lot of fun.  The first card we made, I am dedicating to my friend Buffy who lives in Virginia.  Buffy is also a Stampin Up Demonstrator and she just loves the triple stamping cards.  Here is my version of it.  We used the stamp set called The Open Sea.  SU was going to discontinue this set but I believe they had a lot of requests to bring it back and they did.  This set is great for making cards for men.

The next card we made was requested by my friend, Char.  Unfortunately Char could not be at the meeting.  Don’t worry, Char.  I will teach you another time.  The card uses the Labels Collection Framelits and the stamp set is called Happy Hour.  Anyone who has been a cruise or to the Caribbean needs to get this set.  Here is the front of the card.
This is what the card looks like when you open it.

The last card we did used the Big Shot die called Autumn Accents.  It cuts out great leaves so easily.  After cutting out the leaves then you stamp them with the stamp set called Wonderfall.  The background is an embossing folder called Woodgrain and is also great for making a card for a man.

If anyone is interested in learning how to make these cards
just let me know!

Leadership Swap

I belong to a group of Stampin Up Demonstrators called C.S.I (Create, Share and Inspire).  We have been doing Color Challenges the last few weeks.  The first Color Challenge was using the colors Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry.  I also used this card as my swap for Leadership.  It uses the stamp set called Send me Soaring.
