Freshly Made Sketches

DSC01303

This is my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches.  I have forgotten how much I like Stampin Up’s Regals.  They are perfect for fall cards.  For this card I used the stamp set called Wonderfall for the leaves.  It has a matching Big Shot Die called Bigz Autumn Accents.  The trick with these together is you have to cut out the leaves first and then stamp them.  It is pretty easy to line up.  The sentiment is from the Hostess Set called Express Yourself.  I made the button using the Simply Pressed Clay and the matching Buttons and Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds.  The clay is white so after I made the button, I just used a Crushed Curry Marker to color it.

Festive Flurry & Freshly Made Sketches

DSC01280

By now I usually have a ton of Christmas cards to show you but I am having a hard time getting into the spirit this year.  It is not that I don’t love all the new stamp sets in the Holiday Catalog.  You will eventually see that I had to have a lot of them.

Freshly Made Sketches put out their weekly sketch so I decided to do something that has to do with the Holidays. I absolutely love the Frosted Finishes Embellishments in the Holiday Catalog.  It is really hard to see how beautiful they are from a picture.  They sparkly like crazy.  You will love them!  I used the stamp set called Festive Flurry which has beautiful snowflake shapes.  They also have matching Framelits and you can buy both in a Bundle and save 15%.  The “warm wishes” is from Snow Day which is the cute snowman set they have this year.
