Another Simple Valentine

Groovy Love

Here is another simple Valentine that you can make in just a couple of minutes.  Actually, I think it really did only take me a couple of minutes.  I basically had to stamp the three hearts and punch them out using the Sweetheart Punch.  Stamp the sentiment, punch out the little heart and put it all together.  The big hearts and the sentiment are from the stamp set that is in the Annual Catalog called Groovy Love.  The nice thing about this set it is does have the matching Sweetheart Punch but it also goes with the Bitty Banners Framelits and 1/2″ Circle Punch.  Most of you probably have these already so this is a perfect set for you.

The Designer Series Paper is called Perfectly Artistic and you can get it for free with a $50 qualifying order.  There is a catch with this though.  It is going to retire on February 15th and will no longer be available to get.  There are actually three items in the Sale-a-bration catalog that are retiring on this date.  One of them is the very popular Sky Is The Limit Stamp Set and the stamp set called Hello.  The good news is Stampin’ Up! is going to add three more items for you to choose from starting on February 16th.  Come back and check out what these new items will be.

Valentine Groovy Love

Groovy Love, Happy Hearts Embossing Folder

This is the third card we made at our Club Meeting in January.  We had to make at least one Valentine since Valentines Day is coming soon.  If you want to send Valentine Day Cards you need to order soon.

This card uses the stamp set called Groovy Love.  This stamp set is actually in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.  Although I am a little young to remember the 60’s I still love this stamp set.  It matches the Sweetheart Punch.  Stampin’ Up! has had heart punches in the past, but this one is different and I love it.  It also goes with the Bitty Banners Framelits that are also in the Annual Catalog.  Lastly, we used a new Embossing Folder called Happy Heart.  This folder is in the 2015 Occasions Catalog.

Don’t forget it is Sale-a-bration time! Earn FREE merchandise with a qualifying purchase! Get an extra $25 in Hostess Benefits with a $300 workshop (or order)! Join my Stampin Up! family and get an extra $25 with your starter kit!

Groovy Love

Groovy Love

I was starting to get a little tired of Christmas Cards so I made this card to break things up a bit.  It uses the stamp set called Groovy Love.  Groovy Love matches the Sweetheart Punch so there is no fussy cutting in this card.  I also used the heart border punch for the center.  I know it is Christmas time but Valentine’s Day is right around the corner so now would be a good time to purchase these items so you will be all ready to make Valentines for the special people in your life before it sneaks up on you!

Groovy Birthday

Groovy Love

Here is a fun birthday card that used a lot of different stamp sets.  Once again, I am singing the song Groovy Kind of Love because I used the Groovy Love stamp set to make the larger balloons.  Now I can’t get that song out of my head.  The smaller balloons are from Pictogram Punches.  Both of these sets have matching punches (Sweetheart Punch and Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack).  I just drew the strings with a marker.

The sentiments are also from a bunch of different stamps sets.  They are Four You, Occasions 4 You, And Many More and a sneak peek of a Hostess Set that will be available in the Fall called Good Greetings.

A Groovy Kind of Love

Groovy Love

Every time I looked at this stamp set in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, I started to sing the song Groovy Kind of Love.  Depending on your age, you listened to The Mindbenders or Phil Collins sing this song (unless, of course, you are too young to remember either of them).  Before anyone says a word, I did have to look up the name of the band that originally sang it in the the 60’s (The Mindbenders).  In any case, I had to have and I still sing the song whenever I get it out.

Another fun thing I did was this card is to use my Daffodil Delight Blendabilities to color the Rhinestones in the corner.  Blendabilities are perfect for this.  The color stays on, unlike our regular markers.  Now you can have Rhinestones in any of the colors the Blendabilities come in.  Cute, huh?
