Sparkly Festive Flurry Ornament

DSC01307

The first thing I need to say is the picture above does not do this very sparkly snowflake justice! When you hold it up to the light it is amazing. You can use this ornament on a card or a package and attach it with removal tape so whomever you give it to can then hang it on the tree.

I cut the larger snowflake using the Stampin Up! Glimmer Paper in silver using the Festive Flurry Framelits. The middle snowflake was first stamped using a stamp from the set called Festive Flurry in Versamark (you can save 15% by buying the Festive Flurry Stamp Set and Framelits in a Bundle). Then I sprinkled Heat & Stick Powder and used my Heat Tool to melt the powder. After that I sprinkled the new Stampin Up! Silver Stampin Glitter from the Holiday Catalog. The ribbon is also from the Holiday Catalog and is called Silver 1/8″ Ribbon.

Festive Flurry Christmas Card

DSC01286

I made this simple Christmas card using the Festive Flurry Stamp Set with the matching Framelits.  You can buy them both in a Bundle and save 15%.  I had cut out a snowflake in Whisper White for another project I was working on and realized I cut out one too many.  Instead of wasting it, I used it to make this card.  I took the larger snowflake and cut the smaller one out of the middle of it and attached it to the card with Dimensionals.  I am not sure if you can tell by the picture, but I made the snowflake in the middle with Heat & Stick Powder and Stampin Glitter in Silver which is in the Holiday Catalog.  To be totally honest with you, I am not sure if I have ever used my Heat & Stick Powder because I didn’t know quite what to do with it.  Then the Holiday Catalog came out and offered Glitter in Black & Orange and Silver & Gold.  The best way to put on the glitter is to use Heat & Stick Powder.
