There is a lot of excitement in the world of Stampin’ Up!® today. The 2022/2023 Annual Catalog starts on May 3rd and Demonstrators will be able to order some of the new products April 1st. Sweet Ice Cream is a stamp set that is going to retire on May 2nd. It has a coordinating punch called Ice Cream Builder Punch that will also be retiring. The good news is you can purchase the stamp set right now at 20% Off and the punch at 50% off. The bad news is once these items are gone from inventory, they are gone for good. There goes that roller coast again!

To make this card I first used my Blending Brushes with Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. Then I ran it through my Cut & Emboss machine using the Gingham Embossing Folder. Next I stamped the ice cream scoops in the same color ink and punched them out. I stamped the cone in Crumb Cake ink and punched that out. Lastly I took the Stampin’ Write Markers of colored the sentiment in all three colors and stamped that on a piece of Basic White card stock. I layered everything on a piece of Fresh Freesia card stock and a Pale Papaya card base.

Tomorrow is a very big day in the Stampin’ Up!® world. It is the first day of the brand new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. This catalog is packed with new, amazing products that you are going to love.

The Fun Fold card I made today uses a stamp set that was in the 2021 January – June Catalog called Sweet Ice Cream. This stamp set has a coordinating punch called Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch. The stamp set and punch did carry over into the new Annual Catalog but the 10% Bundle discount did not BUT since the Mini Catalog is available until June, you can still get the savings if you order it before the Mini Catalog expires.

To make this card I first stamped the ice cream scoops in Fresh Freesia (a brand new InColor that will be available to purchase tomorrow) and Highland Heather inks. I stamped the spindles in Gorgeous Grape for the Highland Heather scoops and Highland Heather on the Fresh Freesia scoop. I stamped the ice cream cone in Crumb Cake Ink and the cross hatches in Soft Suede. Then I punched them all out using the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch.

Now comes the fun Sneak Peek part of the card. I layered all the scoops and cone onto a piece of Basic White card stock and then cut out the scalloped stitched edge using a new set of dies that are in the Annual Catalog coming out tomorrow called Basic Borders. There are 6 border dies in this set and I love them! There is a chevron, a rounded, a cloud, a fancy zigzag and a regular zigzag die in the bundle and they all have stitching on them. I cut out another piece of Highland Heather card stock using the die too.

I folded a 8.25″ x 5.5″ piece of Fresh Freesia card stock in half and then cut off a 1.75″ piece off one side. Then I layered the piece of Highland Heather card stock that I cut out using the Basic Border die and then the piece of Basic White cardstock with the ice cream cone on it. Only the Highland Heather part open ups. I stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather ink on the Fresh Freesia card base.
