Wetlands Happy Birthday

Wetlands

I have to say I just love those little pipers running along the shore in Florida.  They are so cute so when I saw this stamp set called Wetlands, I knew I had to get it.  The Masking Tape Technique is perfect to go along with this set.  All I did was lay a piece of masking tape on an ink pad, rub it a little and then press it onto the card stock.  For this card I used Island Indigo, Pool Party, Soft Sky and Sahara Sand.  The sentiment is one I designed using the Photopolymer Stamp called Circle Monogram.  To finish off the background, I used a piece of Sahara Sand card stock and ran it through my Big Shot using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.  There is still time for you to get this set free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration!  Hurry, this offer is only good until March 31st!

Lovely As A Tree Masking Tape Technique

DSC01762

If you ever need inspiration just go to Pinterest and plug in “Stampin Up” in the search bar and thousands of entries will pop up for you to look at.  If you want an idea for a specific stamp set you can type in “Stampin Up Lovely As A Tree” (for example) and tons of projects made with this set will pop up.  I saw a card similar to mine on Pinterest.  I changed it up a little but I basically CASE’d (Copy and Share Everything) it.  This card uses the “Masking Tape” technique.  It is so easy to do and I love the results.  You just rub a piece of masking tape onto your ink pad and then place it on your card stock and rub.  I used Soft Sky, Pistachio Pudding and Sahara Sand for this card.  Of course, the trees came from Lovely As A Tree and the sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts.
