Sorry For Everything

Sorry For Everything is a stamp set that everyone needs to own.  The set is all sentiments without any images.  It covers sympathy for people and pets, belated birthday, get well and many other reasons someone might say sorry.  I am not sure I like the name of the set but the set itself is great.  When someone says “sorry for everything” it usually means a lot of bad things happened and no one likes to go there.

The colors I used for this card are Tranquil Tide and Mint Macaron.  The leaf is from Rooted In Nature (another must have set) which has matching dies called Nature’s Roots.  You can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.  I said this before but this Bundle is so amazing it puts Lovely As A Tree to shame.

The Designer Series Paper is also part of the Nature’s Poem Suite and is called Nature’s Poem (well that makes sense!).

Don’t forget August is Bonus Days.  This means that you get a $5 coupon for every $50 you spend.  The coupon can then be redeemed during the month of September.  There is no limit to how many coupons you can earn.  If you spend $100 you get two coupons.  If you spend $150, you get three coupons.  If you spend $1,000, I will love you (and you will get a lot of coupons (20) and free stuff!!).  Plus spending $1000 will make me reach my 2018 sales goal of $100,000 in sales!  Truly, any order in August would be great so I can reach my goal!

Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper

One of the things I love about stamping is you can be as simple or as complicated as you wish.  Sometimes you need a card quickly.  Usually that is when Rob comes home from work and asks for one for one of his employees or friends.  It reminds me of when the kids used to tell me right before they went to bed that they were assigned snack the next day.  In Rob’s defense I have never had to run out to the store late at night to buy anything and I don’t mind going to my stamp room to make him a card.

This card took me about 5 minutes to make.  Seriously, the hardest part was cutting the paper to size.  I took a piece of Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper and backed it with a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock.  Then I adhered it to a piece of Petal Pink cardstock.  The celebrate stamp is from the stamp set called Picture Perfect Birthday.  The stamp actually says “celebrate the good stuff” buy I masked off “the good stuff” part and just stamped the celebrate using Blackberry Bliss Ink.  To mask off part of a sentiment you just cover the part you don’t want with a Post-It Note or a piece of Washi Tape, ink the stamp and then take off the tape before stamping.  The hardest part is remembering to take off that tape.  Believe me.  I have forgotten many times!  Then I cut out the You with a die from the Celebrate You Thinlits set.

Designer Series Paper is great for adding some color and dimension to any card.  It saves you time from having to stamp something.  Stampin’ Up! offers a large variety of DSP with matching cardstock packs to make ordering even easier.
