OnStage

Last week I attended Stampin’ Up!® OnStage (Live) in Orlando, Florida.  OnStage used to be called Convention.  There is one Live OnStage somewhere in the world and Local OnStage for other countries.  It is the 30th anniversary of Stampin’ Up!® so it was larger than most with 6,000 Demonstrators from all around the world.  You would think that 6,000 of anyone in one place would be overwhelming but Stampin’ Up! did a great job of moving people quickly and efficiently so you would never know there were that many people there.

Wednesday was check in day where you got a nice canvas bag with some goodies in it. There was a stamp set from the Occasions Catalog that begins in January, some pens, information, and other things we needed. Then Wednesday afternoon Stampin’ Up! treated Demonstrators who were at a certain level of sales and recruits to a day at Epcot.  This was the first time I was eligible to attend so I was pretty excited.  Rob went with me and we had a great day.  At the end of the day we all met in one section of Epcot where we received copies of the Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogs, a Bone Folder and another free stamp set.  They also told us some information about the new stamps they are coming out with called Cling Stamps.  They are no longer going to offer stamps in wood mount.  There will only be Photopolymer and Cling.  Let me tell you, those Cling stamps really cling to the block!  You are going to love them!  I’ll have more information on them later on.

Here is the stamp set that everyone in attendance received:

Thursday, Friday and Saturday were full of fun, entertainment, training and more free stuff.  I think I ended up with 5 or 6 new stamp sets, some Designer Series Paper and other goodies.  The stamps and DSP are all in the upcoming Catalogs.

Of course, the best part of OnStage is seeing and meeting new friends.  Char (one of my Downline) and Pam (one of Char’s Downline) were there for the first time and my BFF, Buffy came too.  I finally got to meet Audrey,  who is a fellow Demonstrator from the West Coast, the nicest person and a great stamper (we have been Facebook friends for a long time).  Diana Gibbs, who is my Ever Mentor went to dinner with Rob and me one night. She is very sweet and is now an Uber expert!  All of us had a blast together.

Remember, you can only attend OnStage if you are a Demonstrator.  Stampin’ Up! is going to have an awesome deal if you join during Sale-a-bration in January.  For $135 you will be able to choose $225 worth of products OR for $175 you will get $225 worth of products plus this amazing tote!

You won’t be able to get this tote any other way.  It is the best time to join my Stampin’ Up!® Family.

If you would like any more information on joining, please let me know.

More OnStage Sneak Peeks

Yesterday I showed you two of the cards I made while I attended OnStage a couple of weeks ago.  Here are two more.

The first one is made using the Suite called Delightfully Detailed.  It includes cardstock from a set of Notecards called Delightfully Detailed Notecards and Envelopes.  These cards are Very Vanilla with a splash of either Mint Macaron or Blackberry Bliss of color on the front.  By the way, both Mint Macaron and Blackberry Bliss are colors that will be in the new 2018/2019 Annual Catalog.  We covered that with a piece of Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cur Specialty Paper.  It is Very Vanilla on one side and Whisper White on the other. This paper is very delicate and beautiful.  Of course, as I am typing this I realized I used the Whisper White side instead of the Very Vanilla.  Oops!  The sentiment is from the stamp set called Detailed With Love and it has a matching punch called Detailed Trio Punch.  Also included in this sweet is the 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon that you can see peeking behind the sentiment, Faceted Dots and a Memories & More Card Pack.  The colors used on this card are Mint Macaron, Grapefruit Grove (a new InColor) and Very Vanilla.

This next card uses my most favorite stamp set and dies in the entire catalog.  If you love Lovely As A Tree, you are going to love this set even more!  It is part of a Suite called Nature’s Poem.  The stamp set is called Rooted in Nature and it has matching Framelits called Nature’s Roots.

The Suite includes the stamp set and dies,Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper, Leaves Trinkets (which come in copper and silver) and matching cardstock.

OnStage

This weekend I attended OnStage Local in Hartford Connecticut.  On Stage Local is a mini convention that Stampin’ Up! has for all the Demonstrators around the world.  I went with one of my Downline, Karen and met Buffy (everyone knows Buffy) there.

The ride down was a little traumatic for me.  It snowed the entire time and we were surrounded by tractor trailers going way too fast!  It was worth every minute of that trip though.  I had an awesome time and I received a copy of the new 2018/2019 Annual Catalog.  I am not allowed to talk about the catalog until 3:00 PM today but I can say you are going to love it!  At that time Stampin’ Up will release the Retirement List and we can share all the news we heard.

There are around 12 OnStage Locals all over the world on the same day.  Stampin’ Up! sends staff to each of them.  We were lucky to have Spencer at Hartford.  He is one of my favorite.  The day consisted of some announcements, some stamping, some stamping demonstrations by local Demonstrators, some stamping by Sara and Shelli, an awesome lunch, some more stamping, Prize Patrols throughout the day (where we get free merchandise), more announcements, cupcakes and lots of fun.  Only Demonstrators can attend OnStage.  The next one is in November in Orlando so if you are interested click on the Join Now button to the right of my blog.

Check back this afternoon for an update with exciting news and the Retirement List!
