A Simple Card Using Pictogram Punches

Pictogram Punches

I needed a young boy card so I thought the stamp set Pictogram Punches would be perfect for this.  The young man I made this for is an athlete so I thought he would like this set.  Of course, young boys don’t really care about cards too much but they do like what can be inside one.  I didn’t disappoint him.

One of the nice things about the stamp set called Pictogram Punches is that most of the stamps do match a punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  This set has three punches ~ a star, a heart and a flower.  Of course, I used the star for this card.  The background of this card was made using a new Embossing Folder called Zig Zag and the ovals were cut out using the Ovals Collection Framelits.

Happy Birthday Debby & Wetlands

Happy Birthday Debby!

Happy Birthday Debby!

Today is my friend Debby’s birthday.  I sent her this card for two reasons (besides just because it is her birthday!).  One is that Debby like the more vintage look, and although I am horrible at it, I at least can use the colors she likes.  This card is made with Soft Suede and Very Vanilla card stock.  Debby also owns the stamp set called Wetlands so I thought I could send her an idea to use this set.  She also sent me a beautiful Anniversary card using this set.  I cut out the goose using the Oval Collections Framelits.  This Collection includes 7 oval framelits.  The largest one has a scalloped edge.  It is a great set to own!

Happy Birthday, Debby.  I hope you have a wonderful day!

Vintage Verses & Papillon Potpourri

I made this card using the Oval Framelits Collection to cut out the card stock.  The large oval in that set is scalloped and perfect for this.  The Designer Series Paper is called Sycamore Street and the sentiment is from Vintage Verses both of which are in the Sale-a-bration catalog.  Finally I punched out the butterfly with the Elegant Butterfly Punch after stamping it with a stamp from Papillon Potpourri.

Still Playing Dress Up

Here is another card using the Dress Up Framelits.  I made the apron using the sleeveless framelit and then cutting it off using a Finishing Touches Edgelit.  Of course, the oval was cut out using the Ovals Collection Framelits.

Oh, Hello

I really like the Oh, Hello stamp set with the matching Oval Collection Framelits that you can buy separately or save money by buying the Bundle.  You are probably going to see a lot of this stamp set in the near future.  I used Melon Mambo and Gumball Green as my colors.  The piece of Designer Series Paper is from the Spring Catalog and it is called Print Poetry and the 3/8″ Striped Organdy Ribbon is in the Spring Catalog too.  It comes in Old Olive, Melon Mambo and Marine Mist.

Hello, Hello

A few weeks ago I told you about the single stamps that Stampin Up is now offering until March 31st (click HERE to see the post).  Here is a card using one of those stamps called Hello, Hello. It fits nicely in one of the oval framelits from the Oval Collections.  I used the Designer Series Paper called Print Poetry from the Spring Catalog and the leaves were cut using the Secret Garden Framelits.
