Today’s BS & J Productions’ Stamp Off Challenge is to use our favorite Sale-a-bration product. The Sale-a-bration Catalog is full of products you can earn for free with a qualifying purchase. There are stamp sets, dies, ribbons, embellishments and Designer Series Paper in this catalog.
I decided to use the stamp set called Lasting Lily. This set is a DisINKtive® stamp set. This kind of stamp was especially developed by Stampin’ Up!®. The stamps show depth to them without having to do anything special other than inking them up and stamping them.
I love it when I use black and white with a pop of color so I decided to make my card that way. The Designer Series Paper I used is also from the Sale-a-bration Catalog (which means you can also get it for free with a qualifying order). It is called Botanical Butterfly. This DSP has brightly colored butterflies and other patterns on one side and black and white patterns on the other.
I stamped the lilies in Flirty Flamingo ink and then cut them out. Then I stamped the stems and leaves on Whisper White cardstock using Granny Apple Green and then cut it out using my Layering Circles Framelits in my Big Shot. I cut a larger circle out in Basic Black cardstock. I adhered the circles to each other and then onto the cardstock. I adhered the flowers on top. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and my Heat Gun. I hand cut out the ends of the banners.
Now let’s go see what products Jackie and Buffy used. I am sure you are going to love their projects. They are both amazing crafters!
