I know this card looks like a simple Valentine. It is even simpler than I usually do but look what happens when you open it.

It is called a Pop Up Panel Card. Isn’t it cute? I did not design this card myself. There are a ton of different versions of it on Pinterest but I obtained the directions from Dawn Griffith, a fellow demonstrator. I don’t know who came up with it first but she does an awesome video showing how to make it in the video below.

I used a new stamp set called Sealed With Love that is in the Occasions Catalog to make this card. I do have to admit, that I did use retired Designer Series Paper but you can use any DSP you have on hand to make this.

Bloomin’ Heart Valentine

I just got back from a quick trip to drive my 91 year old mother to Florida for the winter. My mom is pretty amazing for being 91 (almost 92 as she says!). She takes very little medication, lives on her own and still (gulp) drives. Now, she doesn’t go long distances (thankfully) but she can still go to the bank and grocery store easily. Mind you, she NEVER drives when I am in the car. I do. I am sure many of you can relate to that.

Anyway, I need to get caught up on my Valentine’s Day cards so you might see a lot of them for the next week or so. I decided to dig out an oldie but goodie set of Thinlits called Bloomin’ Heart. I love this set of Thinlits because it is so elegant looking. I added some Wink Of Stella on the cut out but you can’t really see it in the picture. It adds just the right amount of sparkle without being too overwhelming.

Sealed With Love Valentines

This is the third and my favorite card we made at our monthly stamp club meeting last week. It uses a brand new stamp set called Sealed With Love. This set is in the 2017 Occasions Catalog. It has a matching set of Framelits called Love Notes and you can save 10% by purchasing them both in a bundle. I love this set of Framelits. It has 14 different dies with it and include two dies to make little envelopes. There is also a die to make that awesome border of hearts. To top it all off it has hearts (of course!), arrows, and a couple of little cards that fit into the envelopes. A Stamp Off Sneak Peek

This time our Stamp Off Challenge is a sketch challenge. I love sketch challenges the best because I find them the easiest to do. I know that sounds bad but I have a much harder time with the other challenges. I won’t even try to guess who made this challenge because I usually get it wrong.

I used a new stamp set and some new dies that will be in the 2017 Occasions Catalog. This catalog will be available January 4, 2017. You are going to love it! I absolutely love the heart edge die in this set. I think it will get a lot of use all year round. It cuts out the hearts on both sides but only scores them in the middle so they pop out. The stamp set has 27 stamps included with it. The dies, oh the dies, are awesome. It has hearts, arrows, two little envelopes and so much more. You are going to love it!
