It is that time again for another Stamp Off Challenge. Before I go any further, many of you might have noticed that sometimes the three of us (Buffy, Jackie and I) use a “fuzzy” logo but sometimes I use a clean logo. It is all about what style we each like. I am a CAS (clean and simple) stamper. Buffy is vintage and Jackie is somewhere in-between. They both like the fuzzy logo. I like the clean. Truthfully, the fuzzy one gives me hives. The thing is, it is ok to do whatever we want. No one gets upset over such a silly thing. So, in honor of my stamp mates, I am using the fuzzy logo today. Next week? You will just have to come back and see! Which one do you prefer?
Now, on to the challenge. This week our challenge is to use a retiring stamp set that is one of our favorites.
I used Six Sided Sampler. I don’t know why I love this set so much but I do know I will miss it. Maybe it is because it has a matching punch called Hexagon and a matching Embossing Folder called Honeycomb. There is also a matching Thinlit called Hexagon Hive. All four of these products are retiring at the end of May (or while supplies last). How sad is that?!?
The Designer Series Paper is called Cherry On Top Paper Stack (which is in the 2016 Occasions Catalog). That is retiring too. Oh my. I guess the only thing that is not retiring on this card are the Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim and the stamp set called Gorgeous Grunge (another favorite of mine). I added the Hexagon Hive and Honeycomb Embossing Folder in the links before even though we didn’t use it for this card.
If you would like to see what else is retiring, click on the link on the right side of my blog. That list will show you what is retiring and what is no longer available.
Now go check out what Jackie and Buffy have made with their favorite retiring stamp set.
