So Hoppy Together

This is the card I made for my friend and downline, Lynette for her birthday in February.  I forgot to post it earlier which is why I am posting it now.  If you look closely at the eyes on the dragonflies and the frog you will see I put some Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots on them.  Lynette loves Googly eyes so I knew I could not just send this card without doing something for her.

The stamp set I used is in the Sale-a-bration Catalog.  It is called So Hoppy Together and you can get it for free with a qualifying order.  Stampin’ Up!® has done something different this year with some of their Sale-a-bration stamp sets.  They have made matching dies and So Hoppy Together is one of those sets.  The dies are called Hop Around Framelits Dies.  I didn’t use the dies on this card because I made it before I knew the dies would be available.

The sentiment is from the stamp set called Life Is Grand.  This set is in the 2019 Occasions Catalog.  The colors I used for this card are Night Of Navy, Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist.  The Designer Series Paper is called Gingham Gala and is also in the Occasions Catalog.

If you buy the Hop Around Dies, the stamp set called Life Is Grand and the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots you can get the stamp set called So Hoppy Together for Free during Sale-a-bration!  Better hurry though.  Sale-a-bration ends March 31st!

So Hoppy Together Has Matching Dies!

So Hoppy Together is a stamp set that you can get for free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration.  It is an adorable stamp set with frogs, and dragonfly, flies and other images.  The best part is Stampin’ Up!® has now made matching dies for this set called Hop Around Framelits as well as some of the other Sale-a-bration stamp sets!  You can also get dies for Painted Seasons, Lasting Lily, and Hello Cupcake!  This makes me want all of them!  I put the links to all these dies below.

To make this card, I first stamped the frogs and dragonfly in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Stamping Blends (Granny Apple Green Dark & Light, Balmy Blue Light and Night of Navy Dark).  Then I cut them out using the new Hop Around Framelits Dies.  Next I cut out the lily pad and flowers also using the dies.  I layered them all together using Snail and Dimensionals onto a piece of Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper.  This DSP is also free with a qualifying order!  The sentiment is from the stamp set called Incredible Like You.

Don’t forget there is only one more month to Sale-a-bration.  It ends March 31st!  Have you been thinking of becoming a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator?  There is no better time than now.  You get to choose $175 worth of for only $99 (plus you get free shipping) or you can get $175 worth of products PLUS an excusing Craft & Carry Tote for $129!  Remember, being a Demonstrator gets you a minimum 20% discount on all products plus other perks such as ordering items before anyone else and being able to attend OnStage where you can meet other demonstrators and get free products.  Click on my Join Now button to the right of this post for more information.

So Hoppy Together

So Hoppy Together is one of the stamp sets you can get for free with a qualifying order during the Stampin’ Up!® Sale-a-bration.  It is an adorable set that has nine different stamps which include three frogs, a butterfly, the flies I used above and some sentiments.  It is a great set to use with Stampin’ Write Markers or Stamping Blends.

I used my Light Granny Apple Green Stamping Blends to color the frog.  The great things about the Blends is they are so easy to, well, blend!  The more you color something the darker it gets. After I colored it once, I realized I wanted it a little darker so I colored over it again.  There are no lines (which is another great thing about the Blends).  I colored the wheel using the Dark Basic Black Blend.  I layered the frog onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock.  The Designer Series Paper is from the 2019 Occasions Catalog and is called Gingham Gala.  It is a 6″ x 6″ paper the comes in Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather and Lemon Lime Twist.  Of course, I used the Lemon Lime Twist.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and embossed it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and my Heat Tool on Basic Black cardstock.
