Our Christmas Card Stamp Off

Stamp Off Logo Clean

TGIF!  It is our Stamp Off Challenge Day.  This time we decided to share our personal Christmas Cards.  I know it is not really a challenge but it is still fun to see what each of us made.

I actually made two Christmas Cards this year.  I usually make a bunch of the same but decided after making 20 of one card, I wanted to do something different.  There were so many wonderful Christmas stamp sets in the Holiday Catalog that I had a hard time choosing.  The first card I made used the stamp set called Star Of Light.  This set has matching Thinlits called Starlight.  I think this set is so elegant.

The second card I made was more cute than elegant.  I used the stamp set called Santa’s Sleigh and the matching Thinlits (also called Santa’s Sleigh).  The sentiment is from Merriest Wishes and the Designer Series Paper is called This Christmas.

I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Now, let’s go see what Jackie and Buffy made for their Christmas cards.

Star Of Light

Star Of Light

Star of Light is a new stamp set that is in the 2016 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.  It has a matching set of Thinlits (that are awesome!!) and you can save 10% by purchasing both in a Bundle.  I think this is going to be super popular because it is so elegant.

We made this last night at our monthly club meeting.  I used the new Copper Foil Sheets that are also in the Holiday Catalog.  These are just gorgeous.  I think they are my favorite Foil Sheets.  The color is so rich and beautiful.  We embossed the sentiment in the new Copper Embossing Powder to match.

The three layers of the star are all shapes from the set of Thinlits.  One of the Thinlits makes a 3D star that is beautiful too.
