Oh, Hello Simple Card

This card uses the stamp set called Oh, Hello from the Occasions Catalog.  I needed a thank you card and didn’t have a lot of time.  This took me about 5 minutes to make.  To bring it up a notch, I embossed the top and the bottom using the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder.  It just shows you that you don’t always need a fancy card with lots of embellishments all the time.

Lacy & Lovely

I made this simple card when I first got the stamp set called Lacy & Lovely back in July.  The thing I love about it is I think the font is very pretty.  The stamps fit all our circle punches so it is easy to punch out and layer.  Behind the circles, I used one of the embossing folders included in Adorning Accents.

Oh Hello Meets Hearts A Flutter

The Hearts A Flutter Framelits do not have to be used for Valentine’s only.  This set can be used year round.  In this card I cut some Print Poetry Designer Series Paper with the banner framelit and then stamped Thanks So Much from the Oh Hello Stamp Set.  All these items can be found in the Spring Catalog.

I think it is time for another Club member contest.   The first two members who post a comment on this post AND another post between now and our March meeting will win a prize.

Oh, Hello

I really like the Oh, Hello stamp set with the matching Oval Collection Framelits that you can buy separately or save money by buying the Bundle.  You are probably going to see a lot of this stamp set in the near future.  I used Melon Mambo and Gumball Green as my colors.  The piece of Designer Series Paper is from the Spring Catalog and it is called Print Poetry and the 3/8″ Striped Organdy Ribbon is in the Spring Catalog too.  It comes in Old Olive, Melon Mambo and Marine Mist.

A Hybrid Card

This card reminds me of Laura Ashely who uses a lot of small flowery prints.  Actually, I am not even sure Laura Ashley is around anymore so I may have been giving you a hint on my age.  The Designer Series Paper is called Print Poetry.  It is different than most DSP paper because it is 6.5 x 4.5 instead of the usual 12 x 12 paper.  I cut out the Summer Starfruit shape using the Labels Collection Framelits.  The ovals were cut out with the Oval Collection Framelits.  I think the shapes go well together.

The stamp in the middle is a sneak peek from the 2013 Sale-A-Bration (SAB) catalog.  As much as I would love to get everything in the brochure, I do have a limit on the amount of money I can spend (believe it or not!).  I figured the way around this is to order (for free, by the way) the My Digital Studio SAB disk called One Big Sale-A-Bration 2013 Digital Disk that has everything in the brochure.  The stamp is from the set called Vintage Verses.  Remember, you can get the disk or the stamp free with a $50 purchase.  You can get both with a $100 purchase!

With My Digital Studio 2 you can color stamps!  Can you see how I colored the stamp in Marine Mist and then I colored some of the words in Gumball Green and the little swirl around the word “YOU’ in Summer Starfruit.  How cool is that?

Christmas Thank You’s

Here is another card that we made at our Club Meeting.  It uses the single stamp called Bold Snowflake and Curly Cute.  I thought it would be a great card to use for some of those Thank You Cards you might need to write after the Holidays.  This card uses the colors Baja Breeze and Island Indigo.  The snowflake fits perfectly with the Blossom Punch and the Thank You is cut out using the Apothecary Accents Framelits.
