I have been trying to go through and use my Stampin’ Up! products that have not used in a while and may have a possibility of retiring at the end of April.  In the last couple of weeks I have used the Plentiful Plants, Wisteris Wishes, Art Gallery and Cup Of Tea bundles.  These are some of the bundles I love and will miss if they retire.  Today, I decided to use the Sunflower Dies and Amazing Thanks.

I have to say this was such a simple card to make.  I tend to lean towards making CAS ( clean and simple) cards.  I think they are pretty even though they are quick and easy to make.  Intricate and complicated are gorgeous but honestly, I don’t have the patience to make them.  To make this card all I needed to do was cut out the sunflower outline from the Sunflowers dies in Basic White card stock and the word “thanks”  from the die set called Amazing Thanks in Basic Black.   I cut out a circle using the Layering Circle Dies and embossed it using one of the Online Exclusive Basics 3D embossing folders and glued it to the center of the sunflower.  Then I layered them onto a 3.5″ x 4.75″ piece of Sun Prints Designer Series Paper.  I adhered them to a 3.75″ x 5″ piece of Basic White and a Calypso Coral card base.  Pretty simple, right?
