Sometimes when a new catalog comes out, I forget about the “old” stuff. I try to go through my stamp sets every now and then and pull out something I haven’t used in a long time. The stamp set called Art Gallery is one of those sets. I can’t remember which catalog it first appeared in. I think it must have been another mini catalog but it is still in the 2021/2022 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog and it is still one of my favorites. This set also has coordinating dies called Floral Gallery and together they make beautiful cards.
To make this card I first put a 4″ x 5.25″ inch piece of Basic White card stock in the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and ran it through my Cut “N Emboss machine. This embossing folder reminds me of the house I grew up in that had stucco walls with a texture like this. I layered this on a Basic White card base.
The flowers in this set are DisINKtive stamps which means they create different opacities with a single stamp. In some place the ink will be darker than in others. Plus this stamp set is a two-step stamp set which means it can take two or more stamps to make an image. I stamped the larger flowers in Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay inks. You can see how there are light and dark sections of the petals. I stamped the smaller flowers in Highland Heather ink and the leaves in Granny Apple Green. Then I cut them all out using the coordinating Floral Gallery Dies. Lastly I stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather ink and cut it out using one of the label dies in this set.

This is so pretty Susan. I love the cluster of flowers, the background. You are knocking it out of the park with your color combinations!

Very pretty! At first I thought you had used texture paste to create the background (an embossing folder is much easier!)
