The 2015 Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog is awesome this year. It has stamps for every taste. There are vintage stamps, modern stamps, flowers (of course), lots of sentiments and so much more.
The first time I saw Wild About Flowers I knew I had to get it. When I was young, my grandparents lived in Manchester, Vermont. It was not the Manchester it is today. It was a small rural town where the only place to eat was the Bluebird Diner. It had a wonderful bakery that made these toffee cookies that were to die for! Now, it has a ton of outlet stores and is crazy busy.
My grandparents house was on a long dirt road and on either side of the road were big fields full of wild flowers. We would walk down to their pond to go swimming and pick wild flowers on our way back to the house to give to my grandmother. I am sure most of them were weed but she would put them in a vase anyway.
Wild About Flowers is a two step stamp set made out of Photopolymer. That makes it so easy to line up the stamps. Plus, the pictures are numbered so you know which flower goes with which stem. It makes it so easy.
Here is a picture of my son, Sam, taking a nap with his girls on his first Father’s Day!
I love the colors you used! The Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder (? RIght?) are GORGEOUS on the white card. Great story and beautiful picture of Sam’s first Father’s Day! Love that Guardian Angel over his shoulder. Madelyn is getting so big.
Thanks Buffy! These kids grow up way too fast! You must be celebrating a birthday soon, aren’t you?
Miss Amelia is 10 months old today. I can’t believe how fast the time has gone.
BTW – I think Mike is jealous of her hair.
