Today is my mother’s 90th birthday! She is amazing for being 90. She still lives on her own and drives (well that part is a little scary) and is very healthy. She is the only 90 year old I know that doesn’t take any medications other than vitamins. She still needlepoints, is an avid reader and volunteers at the local library. I can only hope I am half as healthy as she is at her age.
I made this card using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and the stamp set called Perpetual Calendar. I actually love this set because it has a ton of little stamps that can be used for a background. There are stars, hearts, leaves, flowers, starbursts and many other shapes. I think this set is overlooked because it goes with a kit, but you can just buy the stamps if you want.

Thanks Deborah. Unfortunately I can’t spend any time with her today because she lives in South Carolina. I was going to fly down to see her but she didn’t want me (or my sisters) to spend the money. We are going to see her in a couple of months though.
