Baby Bear

Baby Bear, Stampin Up

This is one of the cards we made at our monthly stamp club meeting earlier in the summer.  I don’t know why I didn’t post it previous to this but I guess it doesn’t really matter.  This stamp set is called Baby Bear and is in the 2016 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.  It is a 3-step stamp set which is why the bear looks so life like.  First you stamp the background color in the lightest color.  We used Crumb Cake.  Then you stamp over that with the 2nd stamp in the series (we used Soft Suede) and last of all, you stamp the third color over it all (we used Early Espresso).  It really give it a nice 3D look and it is very easy to line up.

I am saving this card to send to Madelyn.  It is a perfect card for a sweet, little girl.  Here is a picture of her in pigtails.  She is growing up way too fast!

Craft Projet Central Challenge

I have had a little trouble lately making cards.  It is called lack of mojo and for some reason it has hit me hard!  I was talking to Buffy and Jackie (my favorite Stamp Off buddies) about it and Buffy suggested I try a challenge and sent me this Craft Project Central Challenge.

I had a rough time of it but managed to come up with something worth posting.  Of course, this was after throwing out 2 or 3 tries!

Badges & Banners,

I used a stamp set that I won at the Stampin’ Up! ONStage in Salt Lake City.  It actually comes with a matching punch and I forgot to order it so I had cut out the bird cage.  The Designer Series Paper is called Blooms & Bliss.  It is really pretty with nice color combinations.  This piece happens to use Mint Maccaron, Island Indigo and Sahara Sand.  The great thing about Designer Series Paper is it has two sides.  The banner I used it the other side of the flowers.  The little hearts are from the Owl Builder Punch and the sentiment is punched out with the Duet Banners Punch.

Gift From The Garden

Gift From The Garden

Yes, it is November.  Yes, my garden is all shriveled and dead but sometimes you just have to close your eyes and pretend it is summer again.  This stamp set, Gift From The Garden, can help you with that.  It is such a cute set so I can’t let it sit on my shelf for long!  Just go with it!

I also know that Election Day has come and gone but here is a picture showing that even Madelyn voted this year.  Hopefully she voted for her grandma.  Well, I am sure she would have if she lived in New York!
