Now back to our regularly scheduled program:

One of the things I love best about being a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator is I get to order new products before they are available to anyone else. I am not a patient person so I would go crazy if I saw photos of new products and I could not purchase them yet. The other thing I love about being a Demonstrator is I get to earn products for free. Amazing Silhouettes is a new stamp set that is in the January – December Mini Catalog. I got this set for free by attending a virtual Stampin’ Up!® event. This stamp set has coordinating dies called Amazing Thanks that are all sentiments and a background for those sentiment. I was also able to order almost anything in the new Mini Catalog that will be out in January so I will have some more sneak peeks for you later.

Amazing Silhouettes

This was a super easy card to make. I first stamped the tree silhouette in Fresh Freesia ink onto a piece of Basic White card stock. That is all the stamping I did. The stamp itself actually stamps only the background and leaves the tree blank. Then I cut out the sentiment in Basic White cardstock and the background of the sentiment in Night Of Navy card stock and layered them together. This is simple but very pretty, don’t you think?

I won’t be able to put links at the bottom of this page since these products are not available yet. The new catalog beings January 4th!

Madison Emily

The other thing I wanted to do in this post is to introduce you to my newest granddaughter. Her name is Madison Emily and she was born on Veteran’s Day. She was four+ weeks early so she had to spend some time in the NICU but she is doing great now and got to go home after a couple of weeks. Madison is grandchild number six for us!

Eden’s Garden

Stampin Up Edens Garden

Starting tomorrow, November 2nd, Stampin’ Up!® is releasing a bundle that will be in the 2022 January – June Mini Catalog called Eden’s Garden.  This includes a bundle of stamps and dies that’s blooming with beauty and bounty. Plus, exclusive products you can’t uncover anywhere else—a pack of paper patterned with green and gold, a set of specialty sheets for gift-giving and textured touches, and a sparkling set of gleaming gems!

The tale of the Garden of Eden transcends the boundaries of a single belief system. Numerous accounts and adaptations of Eden’s events have appeared in Christianity, Judaism, Islam, legends and lore, ancient mythology, and more! No matter how the story is shared, the essence of Eden remains the same: it’s a place of paradise. Filled with fruitful and flourishing foliage, stillness and serenity, and an air of mystery, Eden is an ethereal utopia!

Just as the timeless tale can be told in a variety of versions, these products can be used to create projects for any occasion—and they make the perfect paper crafting companion.

You can order the entire suite with one item number or separately.  You will save 10% if you order the stamp set and dies as a bundle.

Beauty Of Friendship Sneak Peek

Stampin Up Beauty Of Friendship

One of the best things about being a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator is you get to order new products from an upcoming catalog before anyone else.  Of course, there are other great things about being a Demo such as getting a discount and meeting new friends but I especially love that I can get my hands on new products sooner.  I am not a very patient person!

One of the new products I was able to purchase is the Beauty Of The Earth Suite.  This suite includes the stamp set called Beauty Of Friendship and coordinating dies called Beautiful Trees.  There is also Designer Series Paper called Beauty Of The Earth which is so beautiful and an embossing folder called Bark.  It is a 3D embossing folder which means it makes a deeper impression than a regular embossing folder.

To make this card I first cut the two 3.75″ x 3″ pieces of Designer Series Paper.  The blue one looked like sky to me and the green on looked like grass so I thought they would make a great background together.  Then I stamped the tree tops in Granny Apple Green ink and the tree trunks in Soft Suede.  I cut them out using the coordinating dies (Beautiful Trees) and layered them on top of the Designer Series Paper so the leaves would cover the seam of the two pieces of DSP.  I stamped the sentiment in Granny Apple Green ink and cut that out using a label die that is included in this bundle.  I was going to leave it alone but then I decided it needed something else.  I thought about adding sequins or epoxy dots but decided to use the bird die in the set instead.    My backyard has a lot of Cardinals visiting me so I used Poppy Parade cardstock to cut it out.

There are no links at the bottom of this post because the products are not available to purchase until May 4th.

The new Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog begins May 4th.  If you are a customer of mine, I have already sent you one in the mail.  Let me know if you didn’t get it as everyone knows the Post Office is kind of a mess these days.  If you are not a customer and would like one, I would be happy to send you one for the cost of shipping.

If you are interested in Joining my Stampin’ Up!® team and would like more information, please feel free to contact me or click on the Join Now button to the right of this post.  There is no obligation to buy anything other than your starter kit but I know you won’t be able to resist!

Sneak Peek Art Gallery

Stampin Up Art Gallery

Last Thursday, Friday and Saturday Stampin’ Up!® had their OnStage At Home. They could not have a live meeting because of COVID but they were able to put on a spectacular virtual meeting.  We saw some amazing projects made with products that are in the January – June 2021 Catalog (which by the way, you are going to love!).  One of the best perks of attending the OnStage events is you get to order some of the new products coming out in January.

My pre-order arrived today (yes, I had to expedite it because I am an impatient person) and I had time to sit down and make a card while waiting for the blind installer (no he is not blind.  He is a window blind installer) to arrive.  As a side note, we have had Press N Seal all over our windows since early May because we had no blinds or curtains in our new house and it took this long for them to be installed.  If you ever need to block a window, Press N Seal works great.  It stayed up all summer!

The stamp set I used for this card is called Art Gallery.  It is featured on the cover of the new mini catalog and I knew I would have to have it the minute I saw it.  It is part of a Suite that includes the stamp set, dies called Floral Gallery, an embossing folder, Designer Series Paper, gorgeous ribbon and embellishments.  At OnStage At Home, Shelli (one of the founders of Stampin’ Up!®) and her daughter, Sara (now CEO) made some cards using this Suite.  The card I made is based on one of there cards only I changed a few things.

I first made the background using the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder.  I ran a piece of Whisper White cardstock using this folder.  It looks a little bit like stucco on a house.  I added  some Pool Party ink using the new Blending Brushes that will be in the catalog (which are awesome) and then sponged some Pretty Peacock over the top.  I think Sara put ink on the folder and then ran it through her Cut & Emboss machine and then sponged but you can do it either way.

The stamps in this set are two step stamps where two stamps are used to one make one image.  In this case I used Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody on the large flower and Blushing Bride and Flirty Flamingo on the other flowers.  The smaller flowers and stem are one stamp so I first stamped it in Granny Apple Green and then again in Blushing Bridge.  I cut them both out using the coordinating die and then trimmed the stems off the pink one and adhered it onto the green one.  You could also use markers to do ink the flowers and stems in the two different colors .  The sentiment is cut out using one of the dies in this set too.

Here is the card Sara made:

Here is the cover of the new mini catalog that begins on January 4th.  As you can see it is already well loved.

My Meadow

Hello everyone.  Today is another Stamp Off Challenge.  This time our challenge is to make a sympathy or thinking of you card.  No one likes to make this kind of card but sometimes it is just necessary.  I decided to give you a sneak peek of a new stamp set that is coming in the 2020 Mini Catalog that starts on January 3, 2020.

The stamp set I used is called My Meadow.  I actually got it for free when I went to the Stampin’ Up!® OnStage last November.  It is one of the scene builder sets they have been offering.  The other two are called Snow Front (in the 2019 Holiday Catalog and Waterfront (from the Annual Catalog). I think I like this one the best.  It has the cutest wheelbarrow included with it.

I used Smoky Slate, Pear Pizzaz, Seaside Spray and Gorgeous Grape to make this card.  I first stamped the gazebo and then the bridge in Smoky Slate.  Then I added the Pear Pizzaz land piece, the trees and the steam of water.  I added the little flowers, the seagulls and the clouds last.  The sentiment is from the stamp set called Very Versailles.  It is in the Annual Catalog.

Now let’s go see what Jackie and Buffy made.  I am sure their cards are beautiful (as always).

Forever Blossoms Sneak Peek

Here is another sneak peek from the upcoming Stampin’ Up!® January-June 2020 Mini Catalog (formerly known as the Occasions Catalog).  This is another Make ‘N Take card we made at OnStage in November.  Again, I didn’t actually make it at the event.  I always like to bring the Make ‘N Takes home so I don’t feel rushed.  I guess I am more of a quiet stamper.

This card uses a stamp set called Forever Blossoms.  It has a set of matching dies called Cherry Blossom Dies and you will be able to save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.  These two products are part of a larger Suite called Parisian Blossoms.  It is an amazing suite of products.  It was the first time I ordered all the products in the Suite using the Bundle item number Stampin’ Up!® provides.  If you don’t know this, SU now offers one item number for you to order everything in a Suite.  It is awesome because you don’t have to enter each product individually.  It saves a lot of time.

To make this card I first stamped the cherry blossoms in Smoky Slate then cut them out using the matching die.  I used my Light and Dark Petal Pink and Old Olive Blends to color the image.  This was layered on top of a piece of the Designer Series Paper  called Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP.  This paper has Champagne Foiling throughout it.  It is gorgeous!  The sentiment is from another sneak peek stamp set called Timeless Tropical.  I stamped it in Smoky Slate and punched it out using the Story Label Punch.  The ribbon is also part of this new Suite and is Petal Pink with Champagne edges.  Lastly, I added a few of the Champagne Rhinestones that are included in the Suite.

Stampin’ Up!’s Year-End Closeout is almost here! Beginning December 3 and while supplies last, you can save big on a selection of retiring and surplus items including holiday catalog items, stamp sets, and Paper Pumpkin past kits. Shop early to avoid missing out! Supplies are limited and popular items will sell out quickly. This amazing sale ends on January 2. I will have more information tomorrow!

Mini Catalog Sneak Peek

Last weekend I attended a Stampin’ Up!® event called OnStage in Hartford CT.  It is a one day mini convention held in various places through the world.  I love attending these events.  My favorite part is seeing all my Demos friends from all over the USA.  Of course, Buffy was there who is my favorite faraway Demo.  I was also so happy that two of my Downline came with me too.  It was Karin’s first OnStage event and Karen’s second.  We all had a great time.

One of the other things I love about these events is we get a copy of the next scheduled Stampin’ Up!® Catalog.  In this case we got a copy of the January – June 2020 Mini Catalog (formerly known as the Occasions Catalog) and a copy of the 2020 Sale-a-bration Catalog.  Plus we get free products and can order some of the other products early.

This card uses a new stamp set called Timeless Tulips.  There is a matching punch called Tulip Builder and I got both of these products for free while attending OnStage,  The card I made was a Make ‘n Take at the event but I didn’t make it there.  I brought it home with me and of course, I had to change it up just a bit.   Timeless Tulips is a DisINKtive stamp set so it shows more depth than a regular stamp set.  The colors I used are Rococo Rose and Pear Pizzazz.  I added a piece of Nature’s Twine in Crumb Cake.

If you are interested in attending one of these awesome events you will need to join Stampin’ Up!® .  You can click on the Join Now button to the right of this post or you can email me for more information.

Free As A Bird Sneak Peek

Free As A Bird is a new stamp set that will be in the 2019/2020 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog.  As a Demonstrator I was able to order this set early, which is one of my favorite reasons for being a Demo.  I am not a patient person!  This stamp set comes with a set of dies called Stitched Nesting Labels, which are my favorite set of dies in the new catalog.  They are in the shape of long hexagons and they stitched the inner part and the outer part of the cardstock just like the Rectangle Stitched dies do.  You will be able to save 10% if you buy both in a Bundle starting June 4th.

This was close to the Make ‘N Take card that they gave us at OnStage in April.  I couldn’t make it there but since I could pre-order all the materials for it, I made it at home.  I changed it up a bit but it was close to this.  The Designer Series Paper is called Bird Ballad and has the colors Basic Black, Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Smoky Slate, Soft Suede and Whisper White.  I think that includes a wide enough range of colors for everyone’s taste!

This was a quick and easy card to make.  I stamped the birds in Memento Black Ink and colored them using my Light and Dark Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Petal Pink Blends.

The new catalog is available for pick up if you would like one.  Just shoot me an email to let me know.

More OnStage Sneak Peeks

Here are a couple more sneak peeks of products that will be in the 2019 Occasions Catalog.

This first card was made with products in the Suite called Classic Garage.  To be honest, when I first saw this suite I was not that interested in it.  I don’t have any more Dads living so I don’t usually buy sets for Father’s Day.  Then I saw the dies.  Oh my goodness.  That gear die, which you can see on this card, is adorable.  I just love it.  The stamp set is called Geared Up Garage and the matching dies are Garage Gears Thinlits (you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle).  The Suite also includes Classic Garage Designer Series Paper, ribbon (which you can see on this card.  It is black with a silver stripe in the middle), and embellishments.  I have been told those cute gears also cut out images from the Designer Series Paper although I have not tried it since I don’t own it.  Yet.

This next card was made using products from the Needlepoint Nook Suite.  This Suite includes the stamp set called Needle & Thread and has matching dies called Needlepoint Elements (yes, you will be able to save 10% purchasing them in a Bundle).  They Suite also has Designer Series Paper, buttons,  and Old Olive Linen Thread.

Here is a close up of one of the dies we used on this card.

Isn’t that a fun die?

All of these products will be available beginning January 3rd.  If you are a Demonstrator you will be able to pre-order many of them beginning December 5th.

Tomorrow begins the Stampin’ Up! Year End Close Out Sale.  During this promotion, you will be able to save on a selection of retiring and surplus items—while supplies last. It is better to place orders sooner rather than later, because supplies are limited and the Year-End Closeout ends on January 2. After that, some of your favorite retiring items may be gone for good!  Check back tomorrow for more details!

OnStage Sneak Peeks

Here are couple of cards we made at OnStage in November.  They use new stamp sets that will be in the 2019 Occasions Catalog.

The first uses a new stamp set called Bloom By Bloom.  It is part of a Suite that is called Happiness Blooms.  The colors in this Suite are bright and beautiful.  The Suite includes this stamp set, matching Bitty Blooms Punch Pack (which you can save 10% by purchasing in a Bundle), Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper, ribbon, embellishments, a Memories and More Card Pack and an Embossing Folder.  If you love bright colors like I do, you will love this suite.  The colors in the Suite are Call Me Clover, Calypso Coral, Lovely Lipstick, Night Of Navy and Pineapple Punch.

This card was made using the stamp set called Amazing Life.  This is one of the stamp sets I got for free at OnStage.   It is a great all around set that can be used for many occasions.

To make this card, I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment multiple times using Crumb Cake Ink on a Whisper White Narrow Note Card.  These cards are 2 1/2″ by 4 1/2″ and come with matching envelopes. I also stamped the cake and candle in Crumb Cake and then colored it with my Stampin’ Up!® Blends in Petal Pink, Call Me Clover and Daffodil Delight.  Then I cut out the image using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the scalloped piece in Blackberry Bliss using the Layering Circle Framelits.

Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators will be able to pre-order items from this Catalog in early December.  That is one of the best perks of becoming a Demo (other than a great discount on all products).  If you are interested in becoming a Demo, you can click on the “Join Now” button to the right of this post or you can contact me with any questions you might have.

If you would like a copy of the 2019 Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogs, just let me know.  They should be available for pickup in mid December.
